It is such a pleasure to arm chair travel with you to Chile. Here in Wisconsin USA, we had below 0° F/ -18° C temperatures last week. It was wonderful to cuddle with my cat in my lap and knit while you shared a glimpse of your side of our planet. ❤

I was in Chile in October! I loved seeing Santiago again in your video! I really loved Chile and want to go back and see other parts of your lovely country. While in Santiago I went fabric shopping. I wanted to go to Independencia area but someone said it might be a bit dangerous for a tourist. They suggested I go to Irratazsval Ave (not sure of spelling). I did buy some fabric at a small little shop I found there. So I have some wonderful souvenirs!
Love your fabric shopping. I just can't get much fabric choice where I am in the USA 😢so anything unboring I have to really, really hunt, but usually I have to shop online which doesn't allow me to see it up close and personal. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Finally ! I have been waiting for yr visit to Chile and apart from seeing yr lovely mum and her beautiful garden , the fabric shops and the choice available there . In Europe hardly any shops exist and what’s online is so expensive. Love yr fabric choices Amazing! Would you know where from they import all these fabrics from or r they manufactured in Chile ? You need a long coat with many pockets to put material in when you fly home. Or else just wear all your clothes in layers - I had relatives who did this! 😂😂😂
Do a lot of people in Chile, home sewers still make a lot of garments for themselves and their families? Here in Canada, nobody sews clothes anymore and fabric shops are as scarce as hens teeth. Looking forward to seeing the big feathers made up.

Your fabric is beautiful. I think the red, white and blue one with abstract strips screams you. It will go with a lot of the things you have made. I am wondering if you would go over what you look for when buying sweater knits. I just realized the fabric I have is not so good quality. It is too thin.
