I admire your restraint in not making purchases throughout the year and saving up for the sales. The leather goods are all very nice and you’ve got great styling ideas. The Grasser patterns look very stylish and I can’t wait to hear how they are to sew. I’ve looked at a few but have been too “scared” to try them. Happy sewing and styling!
I’m really impressed with the way you plan your fabric and pattern purchases for the year. Josie, from LA Finch has curated some great fabrics. You might be able to get a pair of shorts out of the small pieces of corduroy. I think the look of shorts, thighs and boots would look great on you!
Love your purchases and honest reviews! I think the Quince jeans looked very flattering on you, of course I’m going by photos and am not the one wearing them. Now I want leather things lol
Loved it all, maybe the red Coach bag the most and of course, now I am thinking I "need" one - help! I'm being influenced 😆! Reminds me of a red leather bag my mother had for decades, so they are a classic, useful item. Most of us shop almost continually - if we added up what we spend in a year we'd be surprised, much like when you go to the supermarket and then are surprised by the bill, so no judging here. Also like the sock yarn - I truly do need knee socks all winter and am sick of the black ones available - Hue used to make dark green, maroon, etc., but I haven't been able to find interesting colors anywhere, not even on Bombas website - just black, black and more black with the occasional gray or navy for fun...
for handknit socks, i have a weird combo of boring neutral colors and super loud clown-y striped/variegated socks. i have almost no plain socks in fun colors. gotta work on that!
Gosh you got some really good stuff! Love the leopard print skirt, the bomber jacket, that brown blazer and the red Coach bag.
thanks! i'm enjoying them.

i agree that Grasser looks intimidating but looking over the instructions i think they are doable. i hope so anyway--i'm about to find out!
@ I wish you much success!

shorts is a great idea!

i agree, i think they look fine. it's more the ultra stretchy feel that is throwing me. i'm a bit worried that they would stretch out and get saggy.
How fun!
Thank you Sarah, I love the leopard skirt and your red sweater! I’m also intrigued by the grasser patterns, will check those out.
I have the Grasser bomber taped together and ready to cut out. it looks pretty detailed but doable.
I love all your finds! That leopard silk skirt, wow!!
it's a good one!
My favorites are the Coach bag and the leather jackets.
thanks for sharing! i loved those too.
You will look amazing in all your new clothes. I love the way you plan your wardrobe. I need to take lessons from you. Thanks for sharing.
Those prices for leather are incredible!!!
All great purchases!🎉
I like different textures too ❤
Love the pants you're wearing at the beginning. Were they handmade or bought?
i always put what i am wearing in the description box under OOTD.
Yes, Quince!
You are so tiny that the low rise looks fine!😊

Hello from Washington state
Easy to hem leather!
the blazer has sleeve plackets, so it would actually be fairly tricky to hem them. i'm planning to leave them as is.
