Hi Marcos, I live in the UK and my wife if fortunately from the Philippines and we love your channel mate. Keep on doing what you do, your channel is going to grow massively because of your style. Thanks,
I just came across your channel a few days ago and have been binge watching your videos. Have you been to Vietnam? I would love to see videos of you there!
I live in Seattle where Starbucks is from.. definitely a fad for years. But it's sad to see them in the Philippines when there are so many coffee farmers there not benefitting from the coffee sales in their country
i'm pretty sure i could do it. for like 10 years i have been living on less than 1/2 of minimum wage here in the USA, and i am able to save up a bit of money each month so i can still party, buy a few drinks, and go on vacations and things. people say minimum wage here is unlivable, but in most cases, if they're single, what they are really saying is that they don't know how to manage their money. so ya, i think i could do minimum wage in the Philippines, but only after i found where i wanted to live, became more fluent in the language, and became known in the area so i wasn't getting charged the tourist price for everything. i'm actually planning on moving to the Philippines, so ill let you know if i can do it when i get there. OH! and i have no interest in living in BGC or any other big city. i've never liked big cities. i'm more interested in small cities and towns out in the provinces where i can easily grow food and go camping, hunting, and fishing
Oh really! Thanks bro! Have you tried it? I was so close to eating it but if I get sick for one video it’s just not worth it, the locals have iron tummy’s unlike me
I saw a documentary on pag pag.My wife Jen has in the past participated in feedings in those areas. It's a real eye opener. The Philippines is a beautiful country with beautiful people but with such poverty in some areas that they are capable of creating an industry like this. We are so fortunate here in Australia.

That P600 a day can be survive to ordinary filipino people in average living condition but impossible to people in good social standing level and burden for them. For food alone to average people expenses daily is cheaper than the cost of having the social lifestyle needs. If someone is dependent of the food meals from the restaurant everyday and not coming from home made meals then everyone goes to financial trouble.Financial management and financial literacy for P600/day earning must have a smart decision making.
I've been living in the Philippines for 20 years, the average worker spends 30% of their wage on travel to and from work. Food is cheap if you go to the right spots, you can't be going to restaurants or star bucks. Most office buildings have people selling food in the fire escapes, or on the back streets they have jolly jeepnees, 70 piso 2 dishes with rice and a 7up for lunch is about normal. Most people cook their own food and take it to work to save money. My wife is well paid but she still takes her merienda to work because she has worked before on min wage.
Not necessarily in taxis. But we can do well in some places on the right nights. There is a lot of wealth though which seems to make us selfish. Filipinos are so humble and appreciative.
@@erriconeale6924 too much humbleness po and appreciative that we are taking advantage of business owners in the Philippines. For us minimum earners we are working just to survive, can’t afford to travel even locally. For a long long time, we’re living to work instead of work to live.

I can survive $11 a day there if I have my own unit and no debt, no family to support. 2/3 of that $11 will be spent on health insurance though so it's really trying to live off $4 a day -- that is tough now that I think about it. Make it an even (odd?) $20 a day where half is for health insurance and the $10 is for my daily COLA.
@@marcoroams Nothing done yet my friend. Those were just estimates. I''m turning 52y. Still need to work until 55y old or 3 more year then maybe I have enough to do pre-early retirement in Philippines. I was able to purchase $150K 1-BR condo in Legazpi Village, Makati last year. So I just need to save $70K within these 3 years which is doable assuming I keep my job. It's getting insane here in the west too. It's been a long time since I have gotten fast food so my wife and I got Burger King one day, $36 for just two of us...
I research the minimum wage of the neighboring countries in south east asia and find out the the phil minimum wage of 300american dollars a month is one of the highest in south east asia!!! Vietnam's minimum wage is 196dollars a month!!! Indonesia' minimum wage is 180dollars to 200dollars!!! !! Malaysia's minimum wage is same as phil!! Thailand minimum wage is 330dollars to 370dollars!! Only slightly higher than phil!! But Bec of western medias always negative reporting of phil!! There is a misconception that phil is the lowest or worst in south east asia!!!

From cleaning and food standards we are used to in the U.S. I know there must be concerns, yes? Have you suffered any sickness from street foods during your travels? I even got sick in Egypt at an upscale hotel restaurant so I wonder what you must go through!
you should meet francis again
lol I met him a few videos ago! 😂
Maybe you didn’t see it!
2 months ago LOL 🎉 i watched every vids of yours and been waiting for your upload for 3 weeks!😂 have you seen the child of Francis' sister?
@@JsSan11 haha thank you!
Yes but this was filmed about the same time …. Maybe a week after the last Francis video, I spaced them out because I have a broken leg and can’t film.
But I’ll always make an effort to see him. Yes I seen the baby photos 👶🏼
@@marcoroams Make sense. Keep safe Bro!😇🙏
A different color candles for anything you want. Or you can pay some lady to burn a couple candles while she does a little dance and prays for you or your
family. Best to just buy a couple right away and not be bothered. No prayer is ever wasted so a few extra for you never hurts.
Stay Frosty
What does that mean?
@@marcoroams keeping one's cool, but with extra emphasis because of the need to stay alert in dangerous situations.
Don't eat the pag-pag bruh. You'll get food poisoning and have the shits for days 💩
This is why I avoided it 😅😅😅

Those who eat leftover chicken is just 0.00001 PERCENT of the 120 million Filipinos. Your depiction of the poverty in Philippines not accurate. 😊
@@JoeyZee-vs4kr he never said 120 million Filipinos eat leftover chicken, hes just showing us what it is, your depiction of him showing that is inaccurate

You need to go check out Gen. santos city in Davao it’s the sea food capital of the Philippines sea food is every cheap and it’s super safe place to go. You could live on minimum wage in the Philippines just not in Manila Cebu or any other tourist places. In the small providences you most definitely could.
Yeah for sure man! I did spend some time there but I was really sick so didn’t get out much
pagpag michelin stars
TOndo used to be the "HOOD" comparable to Brazil's Pavela, now you can see how progressive it is and has a food street..
It’s a good spot 🙏🏽
I feel like people who touch money, dont wash hands and eat their food is worse than cleaned up pag pag though. but thats just me 😂
Currently we're living in an era. Where the price of just living. I worse than the great depression..love your content though
Thank you! Yeah we all do it rough it seems
Bro, been watching your videos but i need to leave a comment. I can’t believe they are eating those crap ? Would you eat that if you don’t have any choices ?
I dunno bro! I guess they just don’t care or it becomes normal to them.
Thanks for sharing
my ass would have fallen out on that bike joining the main road lol
😂😂😂
Oof 😂
