This was my favorite cartoon back in the Philippines during the late 70s. I was so disappointed when then President Marcos banned this and other anime, so I never got to see the ending of Voltes V back then. It was recently back in 2011 that I finally got to start watching the series again from the start and actually finished it.
My dad grew up with Voltes V, Daimos, Mazinger Z, and ever since I was little he'd let me watch these shows, Voltes V is the very first real anime I ever watched and I will always hold it near and dear to my heart.

2023. I watched this video because there's a live adaptation in the Philippines. I want to compare the original and the Philippine version sang by Julie Ann San Jose. They both awesome. But nothing beats the original. I got teary eyed while watching this.
