it does, more angled is for show with major counter-steering, less angled caused by weight shifting and barely any counter-steer is practical for downhill time attack and maybe for flat too unless u have really grippy tires and good road temperature. Heck drifting is also good for bad road conditions like in rally. There are so many ways for drifting to be faster than grip.
@@hetxhdee while you drift you lose grip, it's already been talked about in a video on how drifting isn't better or just as good as grip in a race situation, rally drivers slide in their courses because it's safer for them to safely get out a corner without understeering, if they'd be able to master the course they'd go grip 100%, "drifting" is only a reliable option if you need to get trough a tight corner in like a rally course
@tofuboy the gtr is basically on rwd platform and you know the rotation of engine(like skyline non gtr), it can swap to rwd by pulling a fuse(sorry for bad grammar)
