I would honestly be uncomfortable to answer anyone that asked me how many Timex watches I have, and how many I’ve bought in the last 18 months on the very first day of their availability. I bet we can do that for one one-hundredth the price.” The Waterbury’s, the Q’s, the M79’s, KEEP THEM COMING.

When I was younger I wouldve lusted after the more luxurious brands. But now that Im older I realize that feeling goes away after you own the watch for a while. What youre left with after that feeling fades is what matters. Now that im older, I see that paying a premium for brand name stuff is a waste of money. Well, one thing for sure Watchfinder are not snobs on any way, they give the same high quality bespoke review and treatment to this bargain basement watch as if it were raised in the same stables as A. Lange & Sohne, respect.
Yeah I love that they give the watch a persona and talk about what it feels like to wear and own one (and nail it so well!), so many other channels will just talk about the specs and value on offer for these but when it comes to Omega or something they get all poetic.
Timex has my favorite brand cameo in films. The hidden camera which the feds used while arresting Tony Montana in Scarface is placed on the 12 o'clock of a Timex wall clock.

Surprised but pleased to see a Timex on your channel. I always enjoy your videos and seeing all the glorious wrist candy to which many of us aspire but can likely never afford. Or at least justify. Like many others my first watch was a Timex, back in the '60's. Currently own a Timex Expedition Field watch with which I am very pleased. I'm no expert on horology, but my late grandfather was a hobbyist, who repaired watches and clocks. His advice on my first watch was "you can't go wrong with a Timex." And he was right. I wish I still had my childhood Timex, but you can't take all of those possessions with you for 45 years. So my little three-hander watch went to a jumble sale, after I got my first digital watch (also a Timex.)

OT -- Andrew I got the second dial bezel and crystal for my Hamilton Railway Special and replaced the solid case back. It is tranformative. You have to do it with yours. I like this aesthetic, but this one with the black dial, GMT hands with the red arrow tip, 24h bezel, date only complication (instead of day-date), metal surrounds on the hour markers, oyster style bracelet (and the Mercedes hands without the Mercedes logo, although this was on the original as well) make it looks TOO similar to the Rolex GMT-Master "Pepsi", fringing on the homage watch category, rather than a thing of its own. The price is great though and the added GMT functionality is definitely a welcome addition. But I'd personally wait for another color way.
I love the watch, but unfortunately I couldn’t take my eyes from the scratches on the crystal. It’s the issue that made me stop buying Swatches and prevents me from buying this one.

Even though this watch is a dime a dozen, it must be a great feeling to hand your watch to Mr Hands and have him get some great shots of it whilst waxing lyrical.
But how loud is the ticking? Genuine question. The last Timex I bought ticked too loudly. I had to send it back and got a Seiko 5 instead. Great video but I disagree with your comment, just because you can afford Rolex, doesn't mean you should buy one.

Nice video and presentation, that's the first watch you have shown on your channel that I can afford.
Nah, they've also covered the SNXS79
@@StuntpilootStef OK, thanks for that
Also the Casioak which is around £100.00
@@SakeJully1 thanks bro
Blimey
You guys know how to endear your audience to a watch. I own some nice watches, but I really want a timex now.
No lume shot?
A watch my kids can enjoy and learn to tell time with for less than a video game costs. It can't get any better. Think they will loan me the watch for the evening?
Audio has slight echo in this video, you need to return to the soundproofing set up you used before, the echo robs the narration of intimacy.
Great vid as always, but please, someone, get Andrew a £4 tube of polywatch for that crystal.
Timex would be mindblown after seeing this love letter of a video.
Even though this watch is a dime a dozen, it must be a great feeling to hand your watch to Mr Hands and have him get some great shots of it whilst waxing lyrical.
Please can you review the new Speedmaster 57?
Andrew, are Timex watches expected to last or are these watches you disgard in several years?
But how loud is the ticking? Genuine question. The last Timex I bought ticked too loudly. I had to send it back and got a Seiko 5 instead.
Great video but I disagree with your comment, just because you can afford Rolex, doesn't mean you should buy one.
I don't see this exact watch for sale anywhere.
The Batman GMT variant of this Timex looks fantastic, it looks really clean. I'm going to buy one for sure.
I don’t need a 10,000 dollar watch all it has to do is tell me what time it is I wear it to work and I’m a mechanic it’s going to get scratched oily and greasy
I have the original hair puller and don’t need a GMT enough to change.
This bracelet is such an improvement I wish they'd switch all Timex Qs over to it.
Great video as always 🎉
Thanks
