I have no words. Well. I have some. That tone! That sustain! The light touch, the perfect bends WITH vibrato. David himself would be impressed. I am currently learning the solo to “time“, I am almost there. But this seems so much more difficult. Less overdrive means you have to play even cleaner.

Why is this song so easy to play yet so hard to make it sound this good. The bends are so on spot.

hi avenger...i have a feeling that it might be a combo of your pups and amp.im using 4th gen noiseless and a vox 150 vtx..but the flanger and delay are on the same effect tuner but wont mingle cause they are seperate modes..so i have the same troubles but im sure yours still rings too..and lets face it there is only one gilmour lol

Today I decided to look back at my old clone-strat received as a gift 10 years ago
The gift was ment to encourage me to start play again after 15 year...of course never happened...job, family, divorce etc
So after 25 years total absence I tried to play again my fav Shine On...saw few videos....of course a disaster
Then I landed here...super easy logic to follow and very accurate: Jose you're the man!
Not that I'm now the new Gilmour but at least with this video its easier to start again...hoping my fingers will soon follow what my brain wants to do ;-)

@@guilleguille158 No, no la armé yo, es una Fender Stratocaster del 87, es japonesa y traía un puente flotante Schaller pero después se lo cambié por un Floyd Rose.

@@alvaro100 No usé propiamente un pedal, utilicé plugins que añadí al programa con el que grabé (Logic Pro X) como compresor, simulador de altavoz, ecualizador y reverb.
Excelente interpretación, Voz, guitarras y que mejor que en tablatura, eres la persona que a mi parecer hace los covers más completos y didácticos, felicitaciones. Saludos desde Chile.

@@JoseChurruca just out of curiousity. I also watch Paul David's channel and he was talking about getting hit with all these copyright infringements emails. He talked about how he couldnt even play a d sus2 chord without Universal going bonkers. Are you also having the same issues ? Especially since you also throw the tabs up? Appearantly he lost income on a bunch of his top 10 videos because of this?

I have had some problems but for now, fortunately, not too many. They have blocked some songs for all countries and I can not receive earnings for others but I can not complain too much. I hope it stays that way 😅

Jose, just discovered your channel, these are by far the best tutorials I have ever seen. The quality of everything you do is superb from the camera work, the location, the backing tracks, the tabs and not least your superb musicianship. As a beginner/intermediate trying to learn 'Shine On' and 'Wish You Were Here' my playing has improved in a couple of days. Thank you so much for your work. Thank you! :-) I used some plug-ins like compressor, ecualizer, speaker simulator and reverb. Later, in the final mix, I duplicated the guitar track and added some delay and chorus in the second track
