Thanks man! It feels like one of the few places we can still ride these days. I had no idea that place was such a playground. I'm excited to get out there and explore it some more!
love seeing my old stomping grounds, espcially the way you film it! thanks ! there's another rock roll video I watched earlier, i loved it. you can get as easy or as gnarly as you want there
It really is such an awesome playground! I love just roaming around out there for hours talking to myself...I mean...the camera!! Talking to the CAMERA!!
Oh man! Good info! I STILL don't know all the names of everything out there. If you haven't checked out my most recent video "Surviving the Rock Rolls of Granite Bay" I go a little bit more in depth with some of the slabs out there.
Awesome video, keep it up 👍 I saw you went on the blue pipe trail, you should put the whole trail in next time it’s a really good trail. I posted a small run on that trail a couple days ago.
Thanks man! I'm not even sure I could find some of that stuff again! Haha! I definitely need to go back and map it out in my head. Ali showed me so much cool stuff!
Yea it was so cool exploring the area. I've been out there plenty of times and never saw some of this stuff. What you don't see in the video is me asking Ali over and over again "hey what's that flower over there!?" 😂 It was fascinating!
Hey man - nice, well-executed content. My boy and I just got into MTB last year, totally obsessed now - we ride GB 3-4 times a week, love it out there. Lots of familiar terrain in your vid, but lots we don't know - we need to explore more. Good fun! I only have a few half-baked attempts at content on my channel but aiming to elevate my game. Thanks for showcasing our amazing local spot, maybe we'll see you out there sometime - cheers.
Thanks a lot man! This one is an oldie but goodie. If you haven't already checked out my "Surviving the Rock Rolls of Granite Bay" video yet I've definitely got some really good camera time with some of the Rock Rolls out there. Love me some Granite Bay! Punctured a tire out there just yesterday! 😂😎
So the trick is to go to beeks Bight. Once you’re there in the parking lot there is a trail that goes up and to the right. From there it’s a labyrinth of adventure.
@@CaliradoKid I have ridden Auburn once. We did the Clementine, Culvert, Confluence loop. Super fun and looking forward to riding that again! I have also ridden at Hidden Falls. Great workout but very little tech.
@@TheActiveLife20 I've only recently found all the other cool trails in Auburn too! There's so much to explore there! Stuff like Grizzly! You should definitely follow MTB Norcal on Instagram if you're not already. Those guys are the Auburn champs!
@@CaliradoKid i see right where you went in next to Eddie Murphy's old house. Your friend lives in an ok neighborhood 👌. I will gmhave to find my way back over there.
@@CaliradoKid Unfortunately, yes it is. Still waiting on the last frame part coming from the Netherlands. They can't track it, but it did leave the UK two weeks ago today. They said it could be another month! I'm going crazy, Haha. I may have to rent a bike again this weekend just to keep my sanity.
Great vid bro! Granite bay looks like a really fun place to ride. I might need to make my way there someday.

I need to find all those cool rock rolls. I've found a few small ones but have missed most of those you show in this video.
Tell me when! I might actually have time this week. Hit me up on the GRAM!

Ok! We definitely need to get out there with Ali!
Absolutely! Especially considering there seem to be less places to ride these days.
Fun ride in simpler times, cant eait to get back to blue skies and hero dirt.
No kidding right! I'm really looking forward to the first rains. I'm almost EXCITED to get some Mud Butt. 😁
minute 3:10 is "Feen Rock". Supposedly the original Ranch. 7:20 was diesel fuel tank up on a high stand

Yeah I live in Granite Bay and it took me awhile to find some trails and get used to where everything is. Keep it up 👍
Wow, that place looks awesome, would love to ride there! AND a biology lesson!!

I just got done riding some granite bay trails for the first time and I didn’t see any of these ones

This place looks great. I'm planning to move to Lincoln (hopefully this summer) and am looking forward to riding there.
You'll be in a GREAT spot to hit Granite Bay and Auburn! Both of those locations are in reasonable distance to Lincoln!

im visiting the folsom area for the month of may...this is on my list. Just tour around here to find all the slabs? or is this on trailforks?
I need to find wherever you were riding. I can ride in from my house but never have seen those rock slabs before. Strava link?
Oh yea! It's a playground back there! If you take off from Beek's Bight to the pond head up from there. After that. Playground!

Were is tge head of the trail?
Good stuff dude. Ali showed you all the stuff I was going to show you. Pretty damn cool out there, huh?
REALLY cool! I'm excited to get back out there and explore again. We definitely need to ride soon! Is your bike still getting worked on?

Damnit Chris! Get that bike fixed so we can ride together. Also, cure the virus while you’re at it! Thanks!
@@CaliradoKid I'm trying to do both - not necessarily in that order...
Want to play there on my sb45c
Man! Absolutely! Would be the perfect spot! Once everything settles down we gotta get a group ride going out there!
@@CaliradoKid hoping to ride Auburn this weekend
@@briangong007 I'm down! Let me know when and where.
