Hi. There are two parts on your CPU. I mean two shiny parts/chips. Unlike desktop processors where you have only one part. My question is: Are you sure we have to apply paste on both parts like you did? Or we need to apply on bigger part only?
@@ItsBinhRepaired Why must I follow your instructions? I watched it for knowledge and curiosity and it somehow helped me in replacing my own laptop paste. If you don't want to answer any relevant queries under your video, that is fine.
@@fanatic632 when someone shows how to cut an apple, do you ask, are you sure you need to use a knife? Go ahead and leave it without paste. See what happens. Are you sure you need paste at all?
@@ItsBinhRepaired There is day and night difference between cutting an apple and repairing pc electronics. Clearly you are a dumb teenage youtuber. No more bullshit. Sorry for wasting your time. Regarding my own PC: No I did not apply any paste to smaller part. It already had a thermal pad instead which was intact. I just replaced the other part which had thermal paste on it. It was messy. My CPU temperature problem is fixed now.
in some laptops you have two shiny chips because you have the cpu chip and gpu chip unlike desktop you mostly change the cpu thermal paste only thats why you have to apply thermal paste on both chips
Will the exchange of thermal paste make an improvement to performance. It does pretty well running Valorant and decent settings, but gets hot. Will this help my computer?
@@ItsBinhRepaired thanks for the quick response!!! It reaches about 79 *c within the first 10 minutes of gaming. And peaks about 80-85. I also have had the computer for 3 years and haven’t changed anything.
Yup, not necessary. It would be like using sleeping gas when the dentist cleans your teeth. Lol Yes, it makes it less risky, but there's little to no risk unless you drop stuff on the computer. Imagine the dentist dropping the metal hook or drill in your mouth. Lol
I use ic diamond. I don't do comparison tests. These are customer computers and can't risk doing repaste over and over. Doesn't really matter what paste. You'll at most get a couple degrees difference.
Thanks a lot man, I applied it like a week ago and it was way too sloppy of an appication. Your tutorial helped a lot ❤

Thanks. Any tips for cleaning the fan as well?
The internals are same on my 5567 as in 5570.

can i follow the same steps on my inspiron 15 5580?
and is the isopropyl alcohol a must have for the process?
Very likely. It's not a must, but it helps with a lot better cooling.

can you show me how to change cpu
You can't. If you have to ask, then there's no way you'll invest in the tools for it to be possible.
Thank you very much
No problem

Only if it's overheating

Could you tell me how much of a diff it makes? Im wondering if i should change the paste on my laptop aswell
Unless it's having thermal problems, no point tbh.
Is there a difference between before & after?

Can i use ssd nvme in this labtop
Yes
temps before and after ¿?
Lower, that's all that matters. Real numbers vary, so it's pointless to say.
Isn't the way you spread the paste is wrong? air gaps in between can cause problems.
What do you mean? This reduces air gaps because all the bubbles are pushed to the outermost edges.
