    It would have been more helpful if you started with how you got the display on the TV.

    Hi, in case you cannot hear any sound from center, please make sure that the center setup in the speaker configuration is set to any value other than "None" (page En-40). Regarding the front, could you check the cabling? If this is ok, could you to connect the non-working front speaker to the other (working) front channel - can you hear any sound here? Is it the speaker/cable or the channel of the AVR? Could you try another source? (eg. Stereo only)?

    I have a question? I have this receiver (TX-SR313) and and speakers and sub from harmen kardon (Hkts 9) But I have trouble in finding a good configuration, I am especially confused with the speaker configuration (SP config). What crossover mode should I set it on, want some times the subwoofer is really low and other times it is to loud and I dont want my subwoofer to be damaged by it. So what can I best set everything to? BTW I have my reciever hooked up to my tv with HDMI cable and my playstation 4 also hooked to my tv with HDMI.

      You proberbly found the answer further down in this comment section, but I must agree: This is by far the most stupid of menu-systems I´ve seen in years.

    Hey guys, is it possible to change the remote control frequency? I am having some problems with interference on my TV Sat receiver... Today I have experienced some weird situation. I have connected all speakers and the projector, also the TV Sat receiver and my ipod. Everything worked out fine during the testing. So I turned it off to use later on. When I turned it on again later, there was no sound coming out from the speakers. I noted it couldn`t find the sound from the HDMI automatically, so I changed it and it started to produce sound again. However after that I couldn`t turn the receiver off with the remote control. I pressed on/off button and the TV Sat Receiver was changing some led on its display while the onkyo receiver didn`t receive the signal from the remote. However the volume button worked at the remote. Anyway, I am guessing the this interference caused the missconfiguration and now I am wondering what to do to have both equipments on the same room without causing any problem to each other. Have you guys heard of anything like this? I spoke with the previous owner and he told me once he had a similar problem with the sky TV remote control..

      Hi Dani, thank you for getting in touch - the behaviour that you describe sounds a bit wierd. Could you contact our customer team please? The colleagues might have heard about this before, probably knowing what to do in this case. Thank you! (www.eu.onkyo.com/en/customer-care-hotline-42615.html)

      @OnkyoEU  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, please make sure that your TV is connected to *TV/CD* on the AVR and that the TV/CD input selector is selected. Please verify that “HDMI Ctrl (RIHD)” is set to “On” (page 45) and that “Audio Return Ch (ARC)” is set to “Auto” (page 46). After changing the settings of the “HDMI Ctrl (RIHD)”, “HDMI Through” or “Audio Return Ch” turn off the power on all connected pieces of equipment and then turn them on again.

      +Jerel Crowder Hi! Please be aware that these settings cannot be calibrated in either of the following cases: 1. A pair of headphones is connected. 2. The “Audio TV Out” setting is set to “On” (-> page 45). 3. “HDMI Ctrl (RIHD)” is set to “On” (-> page 45) and you’re listening through your TV speakers. 4. Speakers B is on. 5. Speakers A is off. 6. The AV receiver is muted. Wil this solve your issue?

      Dear William, regarding the inital setup of your AVR, could you have a look at the "Basic Manual" pages 2-9 first? These pages cover the very first setup of your AVR (connecting your TV and players, connecting your speakers, turning on, making automatic speaker settings, inital HDMI setup). The basic manual was designed to cover only the most basic things to quickly get you up and running. If you encounter any problems or difficulties during the setup, please feel free to get in touch with our customer care at any time - the colleagues will be glad to assist: customercare_eu@eu.onkyo.com Nethertheless we will consider making an updated setup process video for the new 2014 AVR range. Thank you for your feedback!

      Hey OnkyoEU,
      Thanks for the heads up. My wife has nagged me to death about all the wires hanging out of the TV and stereo. So we got a New TV and Onkyo receiver. We were under the impression we only had to run the one HEMI wire. That second wire tripped us up. We had everything hooked up except the second wire from the video out to the TV. Once I got it hooked up and got the same results I was NOT happy. You have to turn the TV from the HEMI to the A/V. Then it worked. But I got to tell you, your video's and your manual are not to clear on this. And I am kind of disappointed in this. IF you watch anything with a HEMI connection the TV has to be on the HEMI settings. IF you watch anything that has a composite connection you have to change the settings on the TV to A/V settings. One would think for $500 the Onkyo receiver would be able to know where to send which signal. This could be a problem for older people like me. I am thinking you may get a few complaints. The microphone for the surround sound, that is a cool little tool. That work really good.
      The remote work's great. However the buttons are small. And the type on the buttons are next to impossible to read In low light. The sound of the system is Amazing !! And all I have are some small speakers.

      Dear William, your feedback is much appreciated. We will work on a new AVR setup video which should be more clear about how to setup the AVR. We will also feed back your input about the size of the buttons to the engineers in Japan. Enjoy the new sound - and please do not hesitate to get in touch when you need help with your new Onkyo AV receiver.
