Great Video. Thank you for the brief moment coming over that manhole because NO one has ever posted a decent video showing how its done dragging the pile so the rear tracks arent up and down over piles....you would be surprised at the amounts of 10 year plus people that have no idea about things like that
@@ChristopherKaltSrVideos Took me a few days to watch it all because i havent milled in so long the sights and sounds here almost got me smelling it! That operator is a wildman and great producer. He might be a little hard on the mill but worth every second of it because its impossibe to find a walk in door qualified mill op. Local 12 told me they had plenty to stick around LMFAO Ya coming around that manhole crabbing he got hungup on the mouldboard a little...no biggie iv never seen a roadtec that doesnt have a bent mouldboard and patched dead center of the cross supports from abrasion because they didnt hardface...still great machines but...anyways POST some more with the newer mills please and catch the coming over manholes with this new fangled jazz sez they dont even need to stop any more
@@ChristopherKaltSrVideos that was my first shift on a half lane machine the guy training me was awesome on a machine and there was no way I was going to let him down
@@JacobJerome06 Whoa, cool? You are in this video? Nice. I use to love shooting safety videos for this company. I bet you did a great job. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Hi Laughing Man....those are called booster trailers and what they do is lift some of the weight from the rear tandem axles. When the truck becomes loaded, the front steer axle becomes lighter, so the front tires do not have full contact to the road for proper braking or steering. On the other hand, the rear tandem axles are bearing much more weight then they should, which causes strain on the axles, brakes, etc. The overloaded rear tires also play havoc on city streets and highways and cause cracking over time. The the booster trailer will level and distribute the weight more evenly for safer travel and better preservation of our roadways. Thank you for watching. Appreciate your comment.
Thanks for the question and answer to it. By seeing these additional rear tyres with blinkers I thought it might be for some safety concerns like warning lights but I was wrong. I am from India, having working experience in India and Gulf but never saw these booster trailers.
I'm sorry, but I can not answer your question my friend. I was hired to shoot footage for this company. I'm not employee, so I can't identify what you are talking about.

Thanks a lot for the answer. In my country there aren't systems like that so I was curious.
You're welcome sir. Have a great weekend and thanks again for watching.

I love those dump trucks.
What does the 262c Caterpillar do

Water for dust reduction
Avonta Price the tank holds water to cool down the milling drum
Are u talking about the one tearing up the street or the one behind it?
I forgot what I asked you cuz you took so long to reply back so can you remind me what I asked you about please?
Its a water tank.
That's a half lane grinder ur useing in a full lane grinders job
Hey, you wanna stop at winco and get some pecans?
recycling?? They use that ground up asphalt/dirt for what?!?!
My understanding is that they use it again in paving.
Millings are run through a asphalt plant adding asphalt liquid. 95% of asphalt used today are recycled.
Why are they using such a small machine on these wide roads?
Where is the recycling ????
I saw a normal everyday profiling operation !!
Pavement recycling does every phase of pavement rehabilitation
what is inside that White Tank on that skid loader?
Avonta Price water
Thanks Greg.
Ok
Is it 4 the attachment?
700 hundred and up come in full lane and 600 and down are half lanes
But I thought you have been working with that company 4 a long time how come you don't want 2 answer my question?
LOL...no, not at all....just a cameraman. Have a nice weekend.
