That Mane was so low down on the wages payed to our players I have to say it is absolute non-sense. Sadio deserved much more respect then that. Horrible agent and horrible board decisions. Gutted that he left.

I get what its about its a pride in where you come from thing, but sometimes it really manifests as this weird Validation thing.
Its a good point...why would a rival player watch our parade? and of course players want t be supported and loved by fans, and LFC are known for loving their players, and the parades are special. We dont need to be asking others to validate that, we should know its special. LFC is what every other English team wants to be (excl Man U and Everton, although the toffee's would swap cabinets for sure).
Even Chelsea who pretend to hate our guts, secretly dream about being us. Chelsea fans are like living examples of penis envy in football club form.
We should worry less about what others think, because they all want to be us anyway (but they front like they dont)

unpopular opinion but i still think the parade a day after the Champions League Final was a bad idea.
we just lost the league title to Man City AND another Champions League Final to our nemesis Real Madrid.
the issue was not the parade itself but rather the timing.
that was what made it special, how many people showed up to show support after losing the league and champions league the night before.
