  • / strava This mornings ride data.
Sorry for my swearing this episode.
I really wanted to try and put up a personal best time for this ride since it was # 100. Sorry if this ride is boring for you, like I said, I wanted to be selfish, attempt a personal best on this one. I actually got kind of unlucky on this ride, but I still gave it a good effort - I had more left in the tank then I realized, I'm going to try again next Tuesday for another PB so.... SEE YOU NEXT TUESDAY - LOL!
Thanks to my regular viewers, I'll talk normally and ride a little slower next ride! I'm planning on slowly working on a "special" episode for the regular viewers, I don't fully know what it's going to be yet, but I don't really want to rush, and I didn't want to keep delaying rides for something that would be rushed and crappy. If I can write it well enough maybe it'll become it's own series.
I think I've become a little better of a person since I began recording these, so I'm happy about that, and grateful to you all who encouraged me to keep at it.
I'll always do my best to return the kindness you've all shown me with my best efforts.
Thanks, and you can look forward to 100 more - hope I can do the next 100 even better.

Just got a used Schwinn Mesa GS 2001 from Offerup about 5 days ago, swapped out a few pieces and started ripping it up every evening in the city and trail since. I see you're enjoying yourself. Inspiring me to kick it up a notch in my hometown Renton, WA. Been a while since I had risky major exhilaration, last time was when I was a paratrooper in the Army. Ride free and stay safe brother 🙏

Glad you made it home from your service and are doing things you can find peace and freedom in. When I was younger I was really serious about joining the army for awhile, but a lot of friends talked me out of it - I'll never know if it was the right or wrong choice, just an experience I never had! Glad you're ripping it up!

Almost ate it on the street car tracks at 27:10 because it was wet - I was extra careful with that today because of what happened to your friend, not even kidding.
Lucky to be reminded, because if I took it any less sharp then I did I would of ate it for sure.

@@rustyburger Yeah, anything that runs close to parallel with you can catch your wheels and cause you to go down. Something like that was what cause my first wreck, although it wasn't railroad tracks.
