I’ve found one benefit of alternating AMP fire for groups of zombies is you get double the number of reload shocks from elemental perk.
diamatti's are very good in the boss fight as well. more reserve ammo too

ok just did this boss the second time AMP's aethershroud and hauler 77 both 3 packed and legendary melt's this boss i used stims and c4's never went down once came close but did it i find the AMP's much better than the m16. literally just beat it so im shaking like a crack head writing this.

@@da4kraven460 I would’ve done Mauer der Toten and Forsaken by now but I’m trying to do them all in order, to complete the Dark Aether storyline. I really want to do Mauer but I can’t bring myself to skip parts of the story.
@@Nocturne61 I wanted to do the same thing but everything had been spoiled at this point so I just went ahead and did them. I did the forsaken Easter egg solo back to back since I had missed intel the first time and same with Mauer Der Toten. So don’t worry about those 2 maps because you’ll do fine! If you need help with outbreak, maybe we can beat it together!
A recommendation I would have is have 1 or 2 people running Shatter blast for the Krasni Soldat he's most weakest against that ammo mod. Especially fighting Legion you can get rid of them quickly.
I find the ZRG to be good for the fight... just don't miss

hauer shotgun with range attachments, when you have 4 player aka legion has more health you can solo it, even did it with 8 min still left on the timer multiple times

Ive been to the round so many times. Not many know what to do yet. If youre with randos, they always bring wonder weapons when the shotty works best with the ranged barrel. Everyone needs to being those purple gernades, run various upgrades... Everyone needs those purple gernades tho
I've used the same exact build and it takes way longer for me to break its chest and I have to reload 3 times before the orb breaks. I don't understand and yes I have everything maxed out.

Broo! The legion EE was the only one still had left, spent yesterday upgrading the pistols and today after 5 hours completed this EE solo and on my first ever attempt!! Thanks so much for this guide... it's so good against that boss (the pistols)
Dont edit your class while in the game. Dont change your field Upgrade by editing your class ingame. This has a Chance of resetting your gun to non pap.
Just create select a class which has the field Upgrade you want to use. Your loadout gun will stay the same but you will get the field Upgrade of the class you chose.
I've had this issue re-rolling attachments at armor station. But *so far* not when changing or updating class via menu.

PM63s are still good but a great weapon for the zombies & bosses is the M79 with shatter blast & PHD
i could really use some help doing this boss. i spent 2 hours preparing and going through my routes and paths to beat timer and got to the boss and didnt even get to break an orb once i got to them.
I'm curious if you brought in the Energy Mine 5 and you would pop it at the Legion's feet if it would essentially destroy all it's armor (like where it pulls out the balls you shoot to kill it) or if it would be a complete waste. Perhaps you could test this??

Pause the game and change your class. It won't change your weapon, just your field upgrade.
I’d say frenzied guard when you have a team so they can kill the boss without struggle

M16 and aether shroud claps boss easy. And whenever mimics or mini bosses spawn take them out or you will get over crowded and have no time to shoot boss

When I did it he took no damage I and I had triple packed super op guns to I just started taking consistent damage that I could get away from until I went down three times and lost all my rezs and perks and managed still for about ten minutes unloading rounds in him and it did nothing even when blue damage was popping up

Do you have any tips? How to level up fast?
You can play dead ops arcade, which gives really good xp when you progress through it (use xp tokens if you can) or a different way I like to level up fast is completing the calling card challenges you get each season after reaching level 200. Also there’s multiplayer…but like it’s too sweaty so I wouldn’t recommend.

@@FiliZi or when you have an ORDA on a high round all you have to Do is kill zombies but not the ORDA and survived as long as you can 😆
Keep in mind the legion does go to places where you cannot get close to him when you knock him sometimes and the amps are not good in that situation what so ever and if you low on Time around the 2 min marker have fun lmao trying to get him to spawn into a good area for the last life sucks.
I prefer 22-16 and scaled up for pap, when using the pistols, once one is at 16 start shooting the other one off and Its the perfect amount to be firing constantly

This is the only boss fight I've had trouble with, I've beat the other ones but I've tried legion 4 or 5 times and haven't been able to do it. It makes me feel like a noob...
I feel so inadequate. I am using every strategy you mention and I have failed solo and with players over 12 times against Legion. I'm giving up on the AMPs and aether shroud. I try a shot gun - all weapons packed to 3 and max leveled and I just can't do it. I really don't consider myself a bad zombie player and I did the other EE on outbreak first try solo, this one boss is just too hard with all the zombies coming at you. I have to find another strategy or find others that know how to beat them to finish this one unfortunately. Thanks for the video though.
Tried it and it did not work, both of use got hit while in the shroud and even with frenzied it wasn't successful
I’ve been farming mad crystals failing this multiple times 😅. Hopefully I can knock it out this weekend trying this method lol.
I play this with a buddy and every time we get here they spawn in a megaton a panzer a mangler and 3 mimics and its basically impossible for us.

It took me 10 attempts to beat this, I used another shroud every time but the one where I actually won. Frenzied Guard is the way to go imo
You can shotgun strat him with any shotgun idk about street sweeper but the other 2 work really well I used Gallo and frenzy and m16 all legendary:edit I didn’t get a panzer or megaton to spawn until the last orb

Frenzied guard charges a bit faster, which makes it a bit better than shroud
I thought it took longer? But anyways I still like aether shroud because you just go invisible and it's two charges
Frenzied guard takes the longest by far to charge
The only hard part about this is I can do the Easter egg but the last part and the Bossfight is hard

Infantry Compensator is great for recoil control, but I would recommend flash guard. It has an unlisted hipfire buff and the recoil isn’t that bad to compensate for either. Just my opinion, everything else was spot on
you cant actually damage legions armour until he teleports once so theres no point shooting him. and you can only get the orbs out when hes not on a diagonal

Socom Eliminator and task force Barrel are much better options in my opinion.
Every primary you should use:
-Sight of Choice
-SOCOM/KGB Eliminator
-Task Force/RPK Barrel
-Ember Sighting Point
-Infiltrator grip (bruiser for SMG's)
-Biggest fast magazine
-Serpent Wrap
-Duster stock to not lose hip-fire accuracy
I see you brought a gallo with a sight on it into the boss fight? Did you not make a custom mod for your weapons? Do you not know you can apply all your best attachments to your weapon in game
I prefer stuns over Stims in the bossfight
Socom or agency with damage barrel works really good. I prefer damage barrel it’s a 6 damage difference all thought idk bout legion but that 6 damage goes far!
Rpd is also super good (270mag and long damage range)

Run the pump shotgun with the ranged barrel, infantry choke, ember laser,8 mag, marathon stock.
Get a good auto assault in map. Pack and level all the way. Have all perks.
Run ather, get those purple grenades.
Have two athers ready to go.
Run up close, pop him with the shotty. You shouldn't need the grenades or ather the first time of you have good team.
Run around, avoid enemies, pop legion with the auto until he returns. Pop a purple grenade, pop legion with the shotty...
Utilize your grenades and ather
The RPG is a Sleeper hit on Legion.

They do armour damage/kill zombies, decoys only distract them and for less time.
Decoys only distract for a fraction of the monkey's time. Decoys only distract a fraction of zombies while the monkey distracts all.(and yeah, I'm talking about base and armored zombies only).

Having two aether shrouds as apposed to one frenzy just instantly makes it better for me, soon as legion is down pop aether and fire at the balls while being ignored and if you have at least one other person it'll be easy asf
Yeah every time I ran frenzied guard I failed, the mimics can still grab you so they would grab me and take away just enough time for me not to destroy the orb. Aether shroud is superior, you have two charges which is huge and you’re completely ignored by zombies, if you have enough skill to avoid most of the zombies then you’ll be fine, there’s usually enough armor drops to keep you alive.
@@grimreefer213 Frenzied is completely useless if you're playing alone. If you're playing with 4 people though it's pretty good to make one person a decoy.
I prefer frienzed since it refills my armor and when I used aether shroud I would always die faster since my armor breaks faster

@@WhatsTheMixx I havnt done it solo. My bad should of been more clear. I had friends who wanted to do it but wouldn’t do it alone. So I was the carry. And they always died. So finding the right loas out for them was a struggle . I used the groza and ray gun. Luckily everyone had a ray gun. I did crowd control with frenzy. They took care of the boss.

What this guy is saying here is ultra false: amp have no range enough for boss. It is rpd the only best weapon by far, with 270 rounds in the magazine and 810 in stock then use an aether shroud(ofc you need it level 5) when you debuff the legion, don't reload the rpd, just use the ability that will auto refill the mag and then burn it at one of the weak points.. For anyone who is looking for information and comes across this video, this is a warning: If you want to waste time then listen to this guy. If you want the right one, that's the first thing I'm saying.
Listen, I have done the Legion boss fight countless times. I tested countless weapons also. On top of that I held the world record for fastest way to defeat legion (maybe I still do?) if you want to run slowly, worry about long reloads, then yeah use the RPD. But in the end the amps are the fastest, best options to use for legion. Im not saying RPD isnt, but it definitely isn’t bad. Also saying that what I said is “ultra false” is just weird
@@FiliZi i dont found how amp can be fastest as you dont need reload rpd in boss fight 270 bullets is super enough to debuff legion as i said in first comment then when boss show up orbs pop aether shroud you dont need to reload it s free auto fill mag amp is trash compared to rpd in outbreak it s a waste time full unlock amp compared to full unlock rpd accesories. and same here i done it many times

Honestly since they removed the super sprinter it's to easy now. If you did this EE solo before season 4 you know what I mean. But now super sprinter are gone, spawns are less in general. It just isn't the same anymore.
Don't get me wrong outbreak is very lazy to begin with. Same goes for the main EE. But I have zero reason to ever revisit outbreak again when Mauer finally drops. They really dropped the ball with this year's zombies content.

On amp 63 I would run the flash guard no point in using compensator there's no vertical control needed cause ur not aiming down sights so no vertical recoil crap needed and use taskforce barrel much more powerful by far and use 25 round mag more ammo is needed with these guns that's my opinion,,, dude watching u grow ur doin good just thought I'd voice my OP...
Taskforce barrel is good for this specific fight as it deals more damage but it's just a 3% increase (acording to game stats which sometimes cannot be trusted) so for a regular build I would go for the Cavalry barrel for more armor damage instead. Also, the 25 round mag is not very useful for the amount of ammo you get from it, since it only has 3 more bullets per mag and takes triple the time to reload, which is very risky when you're getting swarmed, and ammo shouldn't be an issue since you should have enough money to buy more if the special zombie ammo drops are not enough...
The damage is only one factor of a 1/3 of the equation the 120%bullet velocity and the range are a great factor your playing the game not just the leigon fight so it adds a definite advantage in the functionality the ammo yes is a definite opion of what u want in ammo ..
@@Trippie-joob true, but considering pistols have a very slow bullet velocity and very short base damage range, even if those percentages look high, in reality we're just talking about a couple meters, which wont make the difference when shooting Legion since its way further than the new optimal damage range with the task force barrel. Plus, you dont need bullet velocity in zombies unless you're going for sniper longshots...
