Thank you for this video. I was especially inspired to see that the beads are made from recycled glass. It’s nice to think of the beautiful art that will be made from rubbish!
Rather interested in the process of grinding that is shown at the end to smooth out the beads. I had not found much info pertaining that subject specifically thought my studies in older art methods. Thanks for sharing!
That was completely unexpected! Came to this from watching a bunch of videos about lampworking, people using torches to make beads for example. This was like a factory, made out of clay! I never heard of anything like this. You'd think thick glass like this would need a lot of annealing, maybe the furnace takes care of that somehow? In the US I think we would polish hundreds of them at once in a tumbler, such as people use for small stones. Talk about making something out of nothing! I mean, the lamp workers are working hard to make one bead, and here it's dozens.... I'm really impressed!
Would love to know where I could buy your beads. I lie to purchase from small craftspeople over large manufacturers. Especially when it's recycled material. 💖
Interesting and wonderful too, a Ghana professor making a living in Jamaica while the Jamaicans are sitting in shaded puffing marijuana like nobody's business

I suspect that the thick-walled clay molds slow down the cooling process, thereby reducing any tensions in the material.
That's wonderful 😊
