I just got one of these running. It was in pieces for months. I finally rebuilt the carb and replaced the missing fuel line and filter. Started 3rd pull and runs perfectly. I couldn't believe it.
I have one just like it. My father in law from long island bought a "spelling" Joutle combi #7 wood stove and a Home lite auto 150 for 100 $ and gave them to me in the mid 80s and they still work fine. They out lived him and probably me.
You made a major mistake in 5.10 to 6.05! In fact the manual says not to separate the two halves of the fuel tank! The engine comes out only by unscrewing 4 bolts, holding it in place. What you did is what I did, mate! The hard way to find out something!
Good call. Once these tanks are split it's VERY difficult to get them to seal up again. There is a chance, if the mating edges are machined completely flat and the sealing areas around the fuel tank are reinforced with a tiny bead of fuel/solvent proof RTV (I myself like variants of FIPG). Where the biggest challenge lies is in getting the switches and trigger in the handle set up just right before you secure the two halves together. Not an easy task by any means.
What did you spray on the body at 12:50? Is it just called paint primer or something? And what were you spraying and scrubbing at 13:30? Just asking as trying to learn these things, thx

I hope it doesn't leak on you. Someone separated my Grandfather's. Runs but not safe.

На скорости 1,75 можно смотреть. Но всё равно кажется что каждый болтик по менуте в руках вертит.
