The food could be horrible; taking the servers tips in USA is forbidden.. you don’t mess with tip Money; only if it goes in a jar and gets distributed equally among staff which is rare. But $8 an hour instead of like $5.50 and tips? That’s not even how servers worked in 2011/2012… shame.

Randy and Alexa are a really great and loving pair. They might not have been very competent, and lost passion for the restaurant, yet they truly care and support each other (contrast this to Amy and Sammy). Whatever happened to the restaurant, I hope they are having the best life together they can.
I read some trivia (not sure how true) but when the episode was being made the restaurant was put up on sale, after episode they increased the price of it. Seems like they used kitchen nightmares to increase the value of the building.

I’m an older woman that went to culinary school because eating good food is a pleaser I wanted my family to appreciate. I also made sure that my sons knew their way around a kitchen either domestic or professional. My sons can cook amazing dishes for their own families and friends. Food was a common ground we could talk about, I’m glad they didn’t follow me into Food Service for a living,instead they followed their own paths so food is a skill they can fall back on if they need to. My sons did keep the tradition of “Family Meals” every evening. As a result their families are very close knit, they take their mealtimes slow so their children are such great kids. If I was young woman I would have loved to work under Chef Ramsay I love how he inspires people to strive for perfection, experiment with foods but keep it fresh and healthy.
