We do not smile artificially "keep smiling" with a smile glued to our lips. We smile naturally when we have a reason.
We have a saying about laughing like an idiot into the cheese
Surely, I didn’t mean that at all. I meant that you guys are friendly. :)
like if you go to Belarus, you may feel that people are so stressed, not friendly, poker face, and if you ask first directions, for instance, a lot of them wouldn’t be nice and polite, unfortunately
Smile, smile and smile. Poland needs more smiling on the streets.
I think it’s quite enough :) it’s also about happy face;)
About English in Poland, for younger generation it’s second language, for older it’s not.
In bigger cities you’ll easily communicate in English. But, if you want to live here longer than year, you’ll need to learn Polish at some point, for even small talk in vegetables store, or when you’ll need to buy tickets etc.
Thanks a lot for sharing! Great insights!!
You surprised me by saying that people in Belarus don't clean after their dogs. As I've seen also on YT, its capital Minsk has the reputation of a very clean city, am I wrong on this? About the weather - trust me, Poles aged above 40 can remember times when it was much colder here. Especially the last ten years (2014-2023) have been (in general terms) as warm as they've never been, at least in the last ca 300 years of weather observations here. Climate warming is going crazy in Poland. The most recent example - temperatures at 27-28 degrees Celsius in Warsaw (8-9 April this year, in the shade) until now were unthinkable this early in the season (historically they did occur a few times in late April). The most recent old-style blizzard occured here in... 2014. Many people are feeling that this country has somehow moved southwards! 😎
Thanks for your comment! :)
yes, its quite clean on the main streets, but in the neighbourhoods, honestly, not really. And its a big problem that people are not used to clean after dogs, its becoming more popular, but still, many ppl dont even think of it. Another problem is that ppl do leave trash on the streets (cigarets, chewing gums, empty bottles, etc). Unfortunately, its the way it is.
Speaking of weather, we've only been here for almost 2 years and it means we were lucky to meet great weather :)
Could you please add some links to the videos have been mentioned? I am very interested to go through...😊
Hi:) thank you for your interest, Vitaly. All the links appear on the top right corner, just click to open it :)

To everyone reading (foreigners considering moving to Poland). If you come to Poland, you must know Polish. Otherwise you will be alienated. Greetings :)
haha, I believe no matter what country you move to, its a must to learn the language and culture. Agree :)
Especially doctors😅
where did u learn the language please ? - hot summer for me
so we are in the same team :)
I've learnt English in Taiwan while my studies there, and Polish - I am still learning :)
Hello Irina, my family and I are relocating to Poland this year. We've been hired by a company based in Warsaw. I've been watching your videos, and they're fantastic! Could you offer any advice on the best neighborhood to settle in? :)
Hi, as I am a fan of Wilanow district, I suggest you to check it out :) good luck with the move! :)

I live in Warsaw Poland, nice country. Need to marry a Polish
clickbait didnt work ??
Interesting is that your accent is 100% polish not russian. How long do you live here? ;)
Her accent is not 100% Polish. It does sound more Russian than Polish.
thanks a lot :) we moved to Poland about 1,5 years ago, but before that we lived in Taiwan for 11 years...maybe thats Chinese language accent? :)
@@irinaabroadvlog that the reason most probably :) Good luck!
the fixation on , the smile,, seems to me a bit strange
haha thanks for sharing! :) probably you have never lived in a country when people on the streets look super serious, stressful, and have poker face, and do not like to communicate with others.
There are many other qualities I do appriciate much more the the, very often, idiotic forcedd smile.
I like smiling children, smiling girls but!!! 300 pounds of smile is for me quite disgusting.
In Wroclaw and Poznan older people speak rather German thn English. It used to be (after Russian) next foreign language. Now it changed and every pupil learn English as first one.
Thanks for sharing!
w poznaniu starsi mowią po niemiecku ahahahah weź nie błaznuj
I guess you don't speak belorusian ,because bielorusian is so similar to polish that you wouldn't have to learn longer than 6 months to speak fluently.
Everybody at school learns English,so everybody understands but to speak you have to travel to foreign countries and practice a little bit. Education in Warsaw is the best in Poland,so probably this is the reason for people speaking better English than elsewhere.
You are right :) We did live in Taiwan for more than 11 years, so I had a lot of English and Chinese practice there. I was learning Polish for 4 months, then I had a break and learnt it from the communication. Now i have plans to continue because I have some time for that finally:)
@@irinaabroadvlog I was born in Warsaw and live in NYC now. I wish you a lot of luck living in Wilanow.
I'm not sure what this lady is talking about when she says that Polish people are not open to communication? I might have misunderstood this.
No :) I mean that Polish people are open for communication, very nice and friendly.
