    I'm surprised that Warsaw prices don't seem to be much different from Poznan - I thought it would be way more. You can live here on 2000 USD gross per month as a single person, but the apartment will eat up 50% of it, plus they are hard to come by even if you are willing to pay more. Our food bills have gone up almost 100% since we came here about 2.5 years ago. It seemed cheap to us then - not anymore. P.S. You can find seemingly cheap apartments online still but you ALWAYS have to check czynsz and the heating system because often the czynsz for cheaper apartments isup to 1000 PLN and if you have gas heating, the winter will be pricey and you'll need to add several hundreds to your calculation.

      1-2 for how many person's? This video does not answer that. If this is for one person it's a food for almost week. By the way. It's possible to get for that cash a much much more. It's depends what kind a product you choose. 60$ for only me, when I precisely select certain products it's enough even for two weeks. What I love in Biedronka is that the variety of products are fit to all types of clients. Low, middle and high class representatives.

    About English in Poland, for younger generation it’s second language, for older it’s not. In bigger cities you’ll easily communicate in English. But, if you want to live here longer than year, you’ll need to learn Polish at some point, for even small talk in vegetables store, or when you’ll need to buy tickets etc.

    I guess you don't speak belorusian ,because bielorusian is so similar to polish that you wouldn't have to learn longer than 6 months to speak fluently. Everybody at school learns English,so everybody understands but to speak you have to travel to foreign countries and practice a little bit. Education in Warsaw is the best in Poland,so probably this is the reason for people speaking better English than elsewhere.

    You surprised me by saying that people in Belarus don't clean after their dogs. As I've seen also on YT, its capital Minsk has the reputation of a very clean city, am I wrong on this? About the weather - trust me, Poles aged above 40 can remember times when it was much colder here. Especially the last ten years (2014-2023) have been (in general terms) as warm as they've never been, at least in the last ca 300 years of weather observations here. Climate warming is going crazy in Poland. The most recent example - temperatures at 27-28 degrees Celsius in Warsaw (8-9 April this year, in the shade) until now were unthinkable this early in the season (historically they did occur a few times in late April). The most recent old-style blizzard occured here in... 2014. Many people are feeling that this country has somehow moved southwards! 😎

    • @irinaabroadvlog
      @irinaabroadvlog หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for your comment! :) yes, its quite clean on the main streets, but in the neighbourhoods, honestly, not really. And its a big problem that people are not used to clean after dogs, its becoming more popular, but still, many ppl dont even think of it. Another problem is that ppl do leave trash on the streets (cigarets, chewing gums, empty bottles, etc). Unfortunately, its the way it is. Speaking of weather, we've only been here for almost 2 years and it means we were lucky to meet great weather :)

    1,5 month only for finding new place to live?! This is like a nightmare. They should at least give u half year. It doesnt matter if they divorce, it was their business, income from u every month for a year. Why u and your family must now suffer because of their private matters? Polish law is stupid

      Half a year? surely not :) in the rental contract, I think it was written 1 or 2 months, but still, to us it wasn't a problem. Landlords are very nice people, and we were lucky to find another apartment within 1 day :)
