I may be in the minority here, but the colors and formula really worked for me.I really like this palette. I wore it for almost two weeks straight to test it out and I found it to be a lovely palette. I don't regret buying it at all. It's definitely a favorite for me and one I reach for often.

I agree with pulling your hair back !!!! I want to see the whole face during makeup application. My 4th haul with Sephora ! ❤ I just purchased the Burberry (the lime green liquid) and Replica (Under the Lemon Tree) more of a spring summer , but who cares. Love you Tara. ❤
Hi Tara! I love watching your reviews and usually agree with you, but on this one, I have to disagree. I didn’t think I would love it as much as I would, but the looks I get out of this palette are stunning on my blue eyes. I love softer but impactful colours that bring out my eyes. I’m surprised you don’t like this, as the looks you created really do bring out your eyes in a beautiful soft way😍😍

Another great and honest review, Tara! This was my second Byredo purchase and they definitely got me with the in and out of stock situation. I caved too soon. I have the Dysco palette and LOVE it! I thought this was such a great deal in comparison with so many more shades. BUT...although the quality is great and some of the shadows are so pretty...there are so many similar shades! WHYYY The difference is negligible on the eye when applied. Basically I keep doing the same brown/bronze or pink/peachy look each time. lol I like it but...if I could do it over I'd pass. I could easily get better looks with the ND Bronze palette or any of Pat McGrath's pink/peach shades.
This palette is so easy to use. I get compliments every time I wear it (even though I feel like it’s basic af) and it makes me reach for it more. I wish it was more edited but while I was initially disappointed I’ve been getting my moneys worth which is more than I can say for the majority of my eyeshadow palettes

Maybe the two shades that hated would look great layered over the dark brown mattes. The orange reminds me of that OG nars orange that look so random but when try it to buff edges lightly looked cool but was a pro MUA obsession to do like 5 years ago. Not sure!! Appreciate the honest review though ❤️ some people love the boredom quints though.
Hi Tara, thanks for your review, even though I don't agree on this one 🙃I love this palette, I love the soft shimmers and I often use shimmers in my crease, so I'm in no need for more matte shadows. The two dark shadows with the sparkle look beautiful on my eyes, even though they feel dryer than the rest, I use them also to deepen up my eye looks. There are some shades they could have changed, cause they are so similar. I'm still happy, cause they are so basic shades that I will get use out of it. And is it worth it? Hm, with luxury makeup it is difficult to say. It was in my budget, so I bought it and love the hole experience, but could I find similar quality for a cheeper price, for sure - that's for me always the thing with luxury products, they are never a must have. (and sorry for my "bad" englisch, I'm from Germany and still try to learn proper English 😅) I wish you a great week!

For me, but that's me, it is THE eyeshadow purchase of the year until now, i watched a documentary about the Kalahari desert and all the wonderful animals there, Afrika is a bucket list thing a real wishlist continent to go to! But i'm more light than you, so i don't mind that there are only 2 lighter mattes in this palette. But always mix and match a lot here, i'm so chaotic, using mattes from Tom Ford, from Charlotte Tilbury, from Natasha Denona, but i did not add these yet, i really love this palette. But that is what i love so much about you, you're so pure, i love that so much about you, when almost every creator here loves this palette here and you don't, that is also such a fresh breath of air for all of us!!! Wish I had seen this before I bought it, I use my Victoria Beckham signature eye brick as a companion palette but the shimmers are still disappointing. Surprisingly the Nars climax which I bought the same day gives me everything I wanted from this palette with its deeper olive green and ruddy matte.
Marie, that Climax Palette is quickly becoming one of my favorite palettes from Nars. I don't know what it is about that palette, but every look I create using it, I LOVE my Eyeshadow that day. It's truly a fabulous palette!!! Oh and I LOOOOVVVEEE the VBB Signature Palette. It's one of my MUST Haves. If I lost it, I would buy it again🤣
I grabbed this pallet and love it!! Of course I do think more mattes would have been glorious but i don’t mind pulling from other items- my single shadow collection has been increasing between a few Mac, Dior and Suqqu colors- all mattes so easy to add as a tag along for this pallet. I’m one of those, prefer more satin type shimmers, such as the ones in Dior’s quints so this is my jam. The olive green color is so nice- i was thrilled when you picked the olive color - I wore it all over the lid with the Dior Cashmere matte in the crease. I also pulled one of my Suqqu quads to add the brown from it in the crease as well.
Yes, it's definitely a beautiful Palette with beautiful textures. Definitely Quint style performance. I wish it had more Mattes and at that price point from a review perspective, It needs more. Completely agree with your comments. Not enough mattes, ditch the blue & purple shades & add some colours with depth. I do like the formulas though, they are good for more mature lids.I have this & was not as impressed as I have been with their smaller palettes. I think you would prefer those, especially the disco palette.

I had it in my cart at Selfridges & decided to wait until your review… That being said… In the 3 months I picked up … Tom Ford … Metal Lust & the 3 new formula quads .. the Mothership 5 Bronze & the one that broke instantly the SURRAT Beyond Beige… Out of all of these .. they are all about the same price as this Bydredo palette… I still reach for my “ VANITY cosmetic palette “ I bought a back up for $70 on her app… My surrat broke the moment I opened it .. the Metal Lust shadow fell out.. The New Tom Ford hard panned & had no pigment.. still playing with the Mothership … Now we see this… I don’t understand.. so tired of spending our time and money ..on brands that are not performing YET I see all the “Rave” reviews… I have 2 shadows from that Beyond Beige palette from SURRAT.. if you have a minute Tara will you please post another tutorial on how you use it? Maybe on a Reel if it’s not in the TH-cam filming schedule. Is there a way to reach out to where you bought it and tell them what happened? Maybe get a replacement? If not, worst case (and even more money🙄) those shades are sold in singles so you could buy the singles. Or if the palette broke and not the shades, you can buy a replacement palette on Surratt website. But I'm so sorry to hear that🥺 Regarding the TF. I have continued to use the new cream Matte formulas and I've noticed a little bit of hard pan, not terrible, but I have taken a piece of tape and press it over the pigment and remove the top layer and it worked great again. It only happened with one of my shades, but I'm sorry to hear that💔 I agree with you, I LOVE that Vanity Makeup palette. In my opinion, it's the best palette that deserves more hype than it receives. Fantastic quality, I can't wait for her to launch another one🙌🙌🙌

I wasn't ever drawn to this palette, all I could see was repeat shades (or very close shades). I wasn't aware of the lack of mattes - I need mattes, so that would've completely swayed me. The first two looks you created, I know you've created before using "better" priced palettes. Don't get me wrong, as usual the looks were gorgeous, they just didn't add anything extra to your collection. Then I saw the swatches. Now, I like a grungy palette, but seeing all the shadows side by side, all I can say is that they looked "dirty/muddy". Maybe I'm wrong, but it is how I saw them. I feel awful that you practically wasted the best part of $100 - just to bring us this vid!!! Can you return it? I hope so Tara, that's too much money to "throw out of the window". Love you lots and lots 💗💗💜💗💗
I was so excited to get this palette when I did, and I love the overall look of it, but some of the shadows, I found to be real dry and weird as well. And like you, too many similar shades and inconsistencies within the formula… really strange….Not what I expect from a $100 palette..
That's my point. It has great textures, but overall it's lacking and missing so much, it's just not fully worth that price point🤷♀️ But I know many are enjoying it and I'm so happy to hear that, i never want anyone wasting nearly $100 on anything 😳
