Dealer centers do not repair SRS AIRBAG units, although the CRASH DATA lock provided for by the manufacturer is not removed by conventional diagnostic equipment, repair of the AIRBAG unit is still performed by flashing the unit. For this firmware of the SRS AIRBAG unit, after the pillows have triggered, it is necessary to provide access to the processor memory of the unit using professional debugging tools and vehicle equipment settings.
Repair of the SRS AIRBAG unit is a recovery - programming the SRS block with deleting and clearing errors about a fixed event (crash, collision) and diagnostics of the SRS AIRBAG system - you get a fully functional SRS block and a vehicle security system.
