You guys do a wonderful job I almost feel as if I am there. This is just super filming at night and in the day and the sound is just great. Thanks for letting me watch and good luck always with your perfect shots.
Thank you so much! The hurricane didn't come as close as expected. We got nothing more than a little rain. All of our Horizon team members are safe! (we're a three man team :D) Prayers for those affected by the worst of Hurricane Matthew..
Thank you very much!! The trijets never disappoint! TAB is very unpredictable since their flights don't appear on most flight tracking websites. TAB and KF Cargo both operate DC-10s, but whenever we catch either of them it's just by luck!
Thank you very much!! That area (on top of the Western U cargo terminal) is publicly accessible, however it is not recommended for spotting. If you do go up there, it's best to grab some quick shots then leave. There is a good chance that you'll be asked to leave if you stay for a while.
Horizon Productions SFL Can you link it in Google maps? I think I know what you're referring to but in Street View, the entrance is marked by a "Do not enter restricted area sign"
No comment on the sparse margin of error between the departure of the Lufthansa A-380 and the arriving aircraft on the same runway? Very surprised that the arriving aircraft was not given a go-around order from the Tower.....although that instruction may have been fraught with peril as well unless there was an immediate turn away from the departing aircraft's climb-out. That was amazing footage....revealing on the controller's election to authorize the Lufthansa departure at that time.
Oh yes, in the original A380 video we mentioned that. Seemed like the 767 pilots gunned the engines in preparation for a go-around too. Quite amazing to see!
I guess I heard someone on the ground note the unusually close departure/arrival in your video. If I were there, probably would have uttered more than a "wow, that was close". I've heard and seen go-arounds with far greater space than that episode. The mere wake turbulence factor off the 380 for the arriving cargo aircraft makes that decision by the controller highly questionable. Great video....wish we had unfettered observation areas like the one next to the long runway on the south side of Miami Int'l around Chicago ports....no such luck.
The airport is basically active 24/7, but there's a drop in the number of operating flights from around 01:00 to 04:00. Some of the rarest heavies come in during that time, but besides that there's nothing much.
Thanks, and no problem! Unlike other channels, we strive to offer 100% authentic and non-leveled sound. You can hear the real loudness difference between the sound of certain airplanes in this video.

I seriously would want to try and reconvert some of the converted planes to their original condition and style to start to run an airline to save the airline empire of quieter planes. I'd just be like **** you and your rules.

Fun fact: This video took over 9 hours to upload! That doesn't even include the time to render, which took more than 12 hours!
omg so much time!
It took me 5 hours to upload my Snowbird video from the Quinte Air Show, and that was only 10 minutes o_O RIP my internet speed XD
Canadian Plane Spotter
Hahaha wow!! For some reason, TH-cam's upload speeds are slower than what your internet upload speed is supposed to be. :/
Awesome sights and sounds! Liked and have a good day. Very nice work doing all this!
Thank you very much and same to you!! Always appreciate your support!
megga cool Trafi....fantastic video...liked
Thank you very much!!
Got me again (1:48:10) ! Great job as always.
Sweet! Thanks for taking the time to comment!
Watched The Full 2 Hours. Absolutely Amazing.
You're one of the very few!! Thank you for watching and commenting!

Stunning work, mate. Lovely traffic, I loved the DC-10 and the MD-11's the most. Does the TAB DC10 always arrive/departure in the night? Big like!!
Thank you very much!! The trijets never disappoint!

Horizon Productions SFL I often see the TAB DC10 on Flightradar 24! :) So awesome to see those old planes still going strong!
mylosairplanefan
FR24 is the one they usually show up on. Definitely awesome to see classics! (BTW gotta catch up on your new videos soon!)
In Las Vegas KLAS we rarely have heavies over here so this is a great way for me to plane spot, I appreciate this a lot and keep up the good work!
Thank you very much for commenting, glad you enjoyed the video!!
Aerolineas Argentinas was my favourite, closely followed by the Martinair MD-11's and of course-the 747's :)
Thanks a lot for watching and commenting man!! Always appreciated! :D
By the way was it the Argentina A340 or the A330?
A340-300
Amazing Job and great video !
Thank you!
;)
You guys read my mind, I knew you'd do something like this sooner or later, great video!
McAndy Railpants
Mason Petrosky Very creative, I lime it!
Much thanks man!!
i added your video to my "to see later" playlist, very nice
Thank you!! You could always just listen to the audio while you're doing something else!

KLM should come back to Minneapolis with their 747's I miss them even though I did see a very rare Atlas Air 747.
Sadly KLM is retiring their 747 fleet. But on the bright side, cargo carriers will continue flying the Queen for years to come.
Awesome video! Btw, is the area at 1:26:26 publicly accessible by any chance? Thank you!
Thank you very much!! That area (on top of the Western U cargo terminal) is publicly accessible, however it is not recommended for spotting. If you do go up there, it's best to grab some quick shots then leave. There is a good chance that you'll be asked to leave if you stay for a while.

Thanks for the comment! We're thankful to have great spots down here. Maybe you can visit someday!
Will you go see klms commercial return to miami? it's on october 30th it will be on an a330
Not sure yet, but we'll see if we can make it.
Horizon Productions SFLi hope you can make it!! also emirates airlines will come to fort lauderdale airport on their 777-200LR on december 15
Is MIA active during the overnight hours, like 2-3 AM?

Nice video, and thanks for not putting music in this, I like to watch airplane videos for the sounds of the aircraft, not someone's favorite tune.
Thanks, and no problem! Unlike other channels, we strive to offer 100% authentic and non-leveled sound. You can hear the real loudness difference between the sound of certain airplanes in this video.

Thank you, we'll do our best! Stay safe and stay educated!!
Yea dude amazing catches just be carefull for youre ears not to get brocked/deafened
Thanks for watching.
Do you know why the Martinair MD11 was given the shower?
Retirement flight.. The MD-11's are now history.
For that airline maybe?
Yes, Martinair's MD-11 fleet is now history (sorry for ambiguity).
can you make more spotting in miami
Sure! Any requests?
can you do 727 vs md 11 sound I want to which is louder because to me the 727 sounds a little louder how did the 727 not set off car Alarms
Why all the water cannon salutes??
00:04:27 last flight of PH-MCU
00:10:13 last flight of PH-MCP, the last Martinair MD-11 (very touching experience)
