Awh so lucky, I've always wanted to meet them but every time I've gone to Florida it's always been too difficult (I was 10 the last time I went and only for a few days) but I'm hoping to go for my 18th and hopefully meet them :)
I cried so hard when I found out winter had passed. She was my inspiration and my idol. I felt an odd connection to her as soon as I saw the movie. When I was 8, I visited her at clear water marine aquarium, I got to take pictures with hope and observe winter. I love winter, and I’m devastated that she is gone. But, she’s happier now with her whole tail and she deserves the happiness. We love you winter, and we will always miss you. ❤️
rest in peace winter. this movie was my entire childhood, i was 4 when it came out and i was obsessed with it for years. when i was 8 i got to go to cma to meet winter and hope and im forever grateful i got to experience that. winter lived for 16 years after she was rescued, and that itself is a miracle. winter, thank you for fighting through your disability and inspiring the world. you truly were one of a kind
Many of us will be returning to videos like this one as we process our own grief by reminiscing in the past. Lots of people grew up alongside this dolphin, even if only in spirit. We will forever miss you, Winter.
2021 and i’m still obsessed with this movie. I always have been growing up, i remember meeting winter and hope when i visited the aquarium.. this movie is so beautiful.
RIP Winter. I remember this movie vividly. I had just moved from North Carolina to Texas. One Friday night in September I watched this movie at a local pool, the night it got released on blu ray. Times were so much simpler back then. This was the first movie where I fully understood the emotion behind it. The way this film communicated emotion with younger people is unmatched.
This movie came out around the time that I was diagnosed with scoliosis and a rare muscle disorder. I struggled with simple things like tying my shoes or carrying in groceries. When I watched this movie it inspired me to never give up and keep pushing through the pain and stay in PT I thought if Winter can overcome it so can I. And funnily enough when I underwent a major Spinal Fusion surgery for the scoliosis the second movie came out. I saw it a few months after that and cried. Winter inspires so many people and I am one of those people. She lived sixteen years because CMA did not give up on her and believed in her, and because of my orthopedic surgeon I am able to do things without being in pain. She will be missed greatly 💙🐬 Swim high Winter 2005-2021
My heart just shattered when I heard Winter just died. Me and my sister love the movie. I really wanted to meet her. I'm going to feel very sentimental everytime I watch "Dolphin Tale" just thinking about her. Inspirational, unique, and a one of a kind dolphin. RIP Winter and thank you for inspiring other people in the world! 😭😭😭😭💔
I’ve stumbled upon this movie while binge watching cartoons during my childhood days and netflix recently released this and decided to watch it. And still this movie is still my fave!! Still had me on tears 😭
I've come here to pay my respects to Winter as I've just found out about her passing. Really sad and shocking. This movie inspired me to become a film maker, because I want to share true stories of inspirational people and animals like this film has done. Animals really are precious.
I cried manly tears of epic awesome emotions in the manliest ways after watching this video. Whoever puts this video on "Dislike" is a heartless demon.
I do not care that the movie is for kids or that am I 18 right now, this is my #1 favorite movie of all time, always has and always will be my #1 favorite movie, I will love it forever and ever
I was obsessed with this movie as a kid. When my family visited florida we actually went to the aquarium Winter and her friend were at. I got to see her, although it was pretty busy so only saw her from afar. Its really sad hearing she’s passed away, she was inspiring
RIP Winter, I may not have been able to meet you but I'm happy you're no longer suffering, you're in a better place now where you can swim with everyone to your hearts desire. Fly high my beautiful girl, you will be missed, thankyou for being an inspiration to everyone and I look forward to finally be able to meet you when I go. I love you so much, rest in peace darling

This movie is an inspiration to every wounded person (inside or outside)...my dad passed away in 2010 after living 20 years with one leg! He drived, he worked, he fought like a HERO! RIP Winter RIP dad and may the peace of the Lord that was in your beautiful hearts be in every wounded person. It's been almost a decade when this came out, I was 5. I'm British and haven't gone to Florida since I was 10, it was only for a couple of days and we didn't have the chance to go to Clearwater. I'm hoping to go for my 18th and finally meet Winter and Hope so fingers crossed :) BUT HOW TF HAS IT ALMOST BEEN A DECADE
2:27 lol i wonder how winter is trained like that...best wishes from a dolphin lover! Why don't we take a moment to realize how amazing and intelligent these oceanic creatures are and why we are being so mean to them?
Winter passed away today. This was a great childhood movie as a little kid growing up in south Florida
Incredibly underrated movie. One of my favorite movies as a kid
Same! The bird and homemade flipper were the most memorable moments for Me lol

I remember watching this in Theaters back in 2011 as a kid, and that memory holds a special place in my heart
Charming. Yes. Sadly in terms of historical accuracy, it makes Micheal Bay’s Pearl Harbor look like a documentary.
R.I.P Winter. Truly an inspirational figure to all people.
I totally agree! Rip winter, you will be missed by millions!
I liked winter when I was just a little boy
I was 9 when this film came out
