This was especially perfectly suited for the fight against Nox. There's just something about it that FEELS like righteous fury unleashed, and Nox earned that more than any other villain in the game. Even more so than Umbra herself.
The battle against Nox may be the first time I've ever been LEGITIMATELY. PISSED. OFF. by a villain in a video game. And I don't mean, "Ugh, this boss is so HARD" *Throws controller through the screen.* Just the raw punch to the gut. While they foreshadowed her Heel turn quite well, they still built it up beautifully so when she finally turned on you it legitimately HURT.
@@lunacurtis780 Yeah; that kind of trope needs to be executed well. But when it has done its job, it can shape/foreshadow whole plot-lines. Like OMORI.
Me too, on my 3rd New game+ I could defeat Umbra with only Slash, Defend, Igniculus and Lull potion in less then 10 minutes (no magic, solo run), the same thing with all other available bosses on a solo run
@@sonofilms7143 TBH, I don't like party limits to begin with. You always end up with one or two party members who are GROSSLY underleveled by the time you need them for their plot threads.

I love this game, especially the music. It was just perfect and made every single boss fight feel epic.

She was legit more harder than the final boss
Actually probably one of my favorite "dark version" of a character, or whatever, better executed than 99% of them
She was always suspicious showing up out of nowhere in my mind. But yeah, it was still shocking.

2v3 serpents is tough!
I hope in the sequel they let you have more party members out in battle. It would allow for more interesting strategies.
