Don't know if anybody did it yet, but I'll try to explain you the song and what they're about.
    First Song:
It's about the people that really helped him to reach the success. Not false friends. The Chorus says: Why the fuck I do want to get in this Club, if they can't come with me?
The lyrics talk 'bout going out at night with the people you can trust.
A party with the real friends that are now singing next to you.
Second song: Los Tontos (The Silly Ones)
It talks 'bout a relationship where one part is always abusing the other. At the end, even the good and calmed ones have a boiling point and say STOP!
The Chorus says: Even if I'm Silly, u can't walk on the floor I just Moped (Cleaned).
It plays with an old phrase that Spanish mothers used to tell to their children when they came back for playing very dirty "Don't walk on the Moped"
Third Song: Demasiadas Mujeres (Too many women)
Sorry but it's not a revolution song. It talks about the bastard he (the singer) is with his girls. He said he was unfaithfull, he fucked other girls during the tours, he lied and manipulated. And he's wondering how long it will take with the new girl he's loving.
But he takes the matter with a kind of anger to himself, he said that there are too many women by there, and he's not strong enough to resist.
    Last Song:
It's a sad love song. The singer is talking to his ex-girlfriend (or ex-boyfriend), and is reprovating the way it ended, that was a very bad moment to the singer.
    That's all, folks!
    Hope I helped you.
    Hugs from Barcelona

Also, the "Cool Uncle who seems to be there just for the food and wine" is Antonio Carmona from a group called "Ketama", who performed around the 90's and 00's in Spain.
The blonde girl is La Húngara in case you asked. And the old dude with the white hair in the guitar is Kiko Veneno, a Legend in the Flamenco world.
In the last song, the guy with the guitar who does the last solo is "El niño de Elche"

Nobody speaks about the importance of silence. These tiny parts of the song where everyone stops suddenly with purpose and how they elevate the intensity of every song!! C. Tangana is a great artist with a non-popular voice and indisputable talent. He creates a love song and anthem for the flamenco and gypsy heritage from Spain, he re visited the traditional music and combined with a pizca of modernity, and the outcome is thrilling, harmonic and unforgettable. It's a must to watch!!

For the people that wish to know the lyrics: TH-cam subtitles in the video are handmade so you can just activate them and see an accurate translation.
Also for the ones talking about the vibe of the scene this is a typical spanish tradition called "Sobremesa" were basically after having lunch all the family (that includes friends) talk, socialise or sing while drinking cofee, licor or a combination of both. Usually after this people have the famous "siesta".

    • @Pablillu
      @Pablillu 3 ปีที่แล้ว +10

Hola, si haces sobremesa, no haces siesta....

The gipsy who sings at the first song is Antonio Carmona, from the band Ketama.
The second one is Kiko Veneno, he used to perform with the legendary guitarist Raimundo Amador when they were young.

Everything I say may have been said before but here I go:
    - The artists performing in the video have years of experience in flamenco. Singing, dancing and making music. They could make endless rhythms with only their hands and voices.
    - Definitely check KETAMA's songs.
    - Kiko Veneno
    - La Húngara
    - Tangana moved from being an artist from the suburbs of Madrid to making something like this surrounded by the most talented artists.
    - Not only the lyrics are catchy but also he included notes from the most traditional Spanish anthems that everyone in Spain can recognise and also appreciate as part of their lives and family times. The moment you play these tracks rhythm flows from the deepest bit of your memories.
    - So cool you get to react to this video.

The first two are from the singer Diana Navarro, an extraordinary interpreter of southern Spain. I'm sure you both will excite you. Another 2 are from India Martínez, another no less extraordinary singer, also from Southern Spain, in one of them she makes a duet with Abel Pintos, a magnificent Argentine singer with her is combined perfectly. Finally, I leave the link of a collaboration that made a set of Spanish singers, each of them from their homes, in the total confinement we suffered in Spain last year during the worst phase of the pandemic. On the one hand, the song is cheerful and very optimistic but, on the other hand, his lyrics are very exciting and more than one we could not watch the video without letting go of some tears... All the songs that come out in the videos are live performance except "El Perdón".
Finally, thank you for your attention and apologize for my level of English...

Hi from Spain! Pleased to see your reaction. I think it is an incredible video with amazing artists. C. Tangana is the main one, but also Antonio Carmona from Ketama group, Kiko Veneno (He is the oldest but with a lot of "arte". He starts the song "Los tontos", the second one), and many more, some of them are part of Antonio Carmona´s family and the others are friends. I would like to explain what lyrics means in english but I think I can´t, its so difficult but I suppose someone can tell you because they are so good. Good luck with your channel.

This kind of meeting is kind of normal in Andalusie, where a group of friends-family have a meal or just drink some different wines and let their art flow through different flamenco bases. If you are lucky enough to be in one of those meetings, you'll never forget It for its fun-happy vibes and sometimes for very talented people.

The man with the guitar at the end (El niño de Elche) doesn't say "Hola", he says "¡Hala!".
Something impossible to translate and with different meanings depending onhow or when you use it.
In this case, finishing off a song or an act could be something similar to "Take that!
    " or "There!" in English.

Have a look at Diana Navarro "Cuplerias". You will love it. She also has a masterpiece, the official video of el "Perdon" (there is a version with eng subs). Complete different style but I am sure you will like it is Monica Naranjo (Sobreviviré, Doble Corazón, etc...). They are both Spanish divas.

Translation of song 4 "TÚ ME DEJASTE DE QUERER":
    "YOU STOPPED LOVING ME"
You stopped loving me when I needed you
When it was most necessary, you turned your back on me
You stopped loving me when I least expected it
When I loved you the most, you weren't feeling it anymore
I thought I was the most badass
    But I'm feeling my heart
You're squeezing it too much, mami, stop it
If you want I'll take your side
The only thing I want is getting out of here
I don't care where, I'll let you pick
Someday, soon I'm going to regret
Confessing you how much you make me suffer
You stoppеd loving me when I least еxpected it
When I loved you the most, you weren't feeling it anymore
Crispy and clean, ready for your party
For the last three days I've worn the same outfit
    Crazy about you, losing bets
Tell me who you think about when you get laid
'Cause I think about you (They are illusions)
I think about you (They are illusions)
'Cause I think about you (They are illusions)
I think about you (They are illusions)
You stopped loving me when I needed you
When it was most necessary, you turned your back on me
You stopped loving me when I least expected it
When I loved you the most, you weren't feeling it anymore...
