Fello INFPs, does anyone else get annoyed at their own brain? Like, I take forever to get out of bed in a morning and take forever to get to sleep because my brain is so active
Yes! I spend hours winding down for bed and sometimes I have to switch up my technique, like reinventing the wheel every other week. Exasperating, but I still don’t hit target time. Sometimes I think my brain is fighting sleep exactly because I’m trying to schedule it.
Still not sure whether I'm an INFP or INTP but it's real close; I overthink a lot and sometimes I reconsider everything subconsciously in the hopes that I get what I want. My Introverted Sensing doesn't like that because it's inefficient. I like napping, but my INTJ brain doesn't. Very annoying.
😭I've had a sewing machine for close to two years...I was so excited when I started taking sewing classes...now I just don't care. Same way I've been trying to learn Korean and French for the past four years and don't even know their respective alphabets or numbers. Maybe I'm just lazy. I've been thinking about how I would like to learn how to illustrate and knit/crotchet for like a year,so tell me why I've actually not done anything to achieve that wish.
Same I start specially with drawing as with drawing I lose motivation at just then phocus on quietly completing the drawing but anything else I just quit
Exactly. Sticking with something long term is difficult for me. I believe it’s because my interest always changing and my imagination keep me seeing the huge possibilities or potential. I will be all in for a short while than something else comes along and the pattern repeats. SMH 🤦🏻♂️

we 100% have more in common with INFPs than I expected at first, or even that people tend to assume (the mastermind CEO INTJ laughs). though the overabundance of Fi and Ne-Si definitely confuse me, but it's also endearing!
Like wanted to be always alone for INFP and INTJ who are really introverted? Yes But I'm curious about INTJ and ISTJ actually, I don't have a lot of occasions to talk to them even online
@@omeiraiAnd like the other MBTI INFP are often seen for their clichés like always crying etc We do are more sensitive than a lot of types but percentage can varies etc Some INFP will relate to INFJ or ENFP but actually as an INFP myself I can relate more to ISFP and INTP (sometimes ISTP) for a lot of things, I find it interesting to talk with others about their personnality I'm very curious, I like to learn about enneagram too and I'm happy to see I'm not the only INFP with main type 5 wing 4 instead of the reverse xD
INFP and INTJ are somewhat of an oddball power couple. They are a beautiful pairing in romance; provided they are emotionally healthy. They both value authenticity and integrity highly, and because they are both intelligent and intuitive the conversation is super stimulating. Then there is the high TE vs high FI which means that they have a lot to learn from one another and find one another fascinating. I don’t think there is a better pairing 🙂
I love that us INFPs are probably seen as empathetic and uncaring at some point at the same time 😂 Also, someone please rescue me, I think societal expectations are beginning to eat away at my INFP spirit, I don’t wanna be normal….
And I'm here thinking I would love being estp if I could choose at birth and stick with it. Suffered too much because of being me and would want to be uncaring to not be hurt again.
as an INFP, when I was younger I'd always want share what I learned/what I like!!! but after time i noticed how ppl dont really seem to understand so now ive been more focused on mostly keeping things to myself!
I still love reporting Information 😂 Like i always tell my bf what TH-cam videos i watched today, but he always become so annoyed and upset 😅 I guess not everyone is interested in social issues
“Normally an INFP wakes up and the first thing they think about is how they feel.” - Doesn't everybody do that 🤔 Why would I wake up wondering how someone else feels 🤷🏻♀️😅
You are not an INFP if: your place is always tidy, you have scheduled out a task list for the week, you notice the make and model of your neighbours car. I must be the rare INFP who does not like napping. I will however, take at least an hour out of my day to blow raspberries on my cats tummy.
As an INFP, also as someone who deals with multiple disorders, my mind just doesn't work right when everything is "tidy". Yes, I like things to be and look a certain way, but not everything's perfect. I k own where my things are, even within a pile or mess. That's just how my brain functions. I am trying to be more organized, but according to how I see organized.
And I like quiet time, naps and time to myself. Though I don't mind hanging out with a few friends, small groups, or calling a trusted person on the phone.
Same. I feel guilty when I nap. Maybe its the Te kicking in? Idk. I've always justified it that I have to be awake as much as I can and do the things that I want to do because in the end we're going to sleep forever. Pretty grim but that's the infp in me 😅 I also like to schedule my week but often not going through it because I get distracted with an activity that's much more fun to do
@@uwumarii Perhaps you are the “Industrious INFP” which is a productive INFP sub type that I have read about- and I definitely am. They are always busy and work with their hands. I would describe myself as an artisan- I sew, bake, paint etc. never sit still. I also roughly plan out my day but then end up making sourdough bread or rearranging my future rather than do the work I planned ☺️
@@shellbell8062That sourdough bread must be bomb😊 I've never heard of subtypes before but that's pretty spot on for me! I would schedule my week to design characters to sell them but sometimes I would end up drawing my comics instead or care for my succulents or make potato wedges or customize my nendoroids while watching lord of the rings. I love occupying my time all the time. I only take naps when I get sick
But there are people whose brain just works like that, like instead of experiencing music they just hear noise (the brain region for sound is not very connected to the region for reward, it's called musical anhedonia) I don't know of the guy you were talking to had it, but it's a thing. I first heard about it when I was little and didn't know much music, especially not by titles and song writers, and the school librarian asked me 'do you love this music, do you love that...' and I just didn't know any and then she asked me if I'm one of the people who just don't like music, and I was like wtf, that exists?
@fairyfellermasterstroke that's wild! I had a coworker who said hee could not visualize anything. Like if I think about something I see it in my head. He has no pictures in his head he just, thinks without pictures. It's fascinating the kinds of differences in how people's minds work!
How about "If you follow the crowd and just do what you are told, you might not be an INFP?" For instance, you must vote this way or else, you must put this particular flag in your X bio or else, you must support this particular group or else.... I personally HATE being told that I must side with a group or thing or I am somehow wrong. I like to observe and make my own decisions. I have friends on all political sides, all orientations, etc. I don't like to be put in a box or given a label (and yes I realize INFP is a box/label; I don't let it define me).
As an infp centrist based mf this is so true for me as well. My number one trait on a 200 question quiz for workforce was fairness and treating people equally (second was kindness). I always end up digging out truths for why something went down the way it did. Media bias makes me sick , I actually only find myself becoming more anti and less infp as the bs media corrupts our minds all over the nation etc the older i get. it's sad really and the bio stuff is hilariously cult like a ha yeah i don't see how someone who is infp could fall through with that for too long at least.
I'll be honest, I braced myself for the worst when I saw a new Benjamin Spicy INFP video, fully preparing myself for 19 minutes of backhanded compliments lol...but lo and behold, there were none to be had! Though I sensed you were fighting a few back in there! :) But as so many other INFPs have already mentioned, this was very accurate. My favorite was the INFP's ability to find a silver lining in literally any negative situation. Particularly for 9w1s I think. But, yeah, really enjoyed this, and the effort you put into these videos. You are one of the very few content creators that gets this type. Cheers my friend.
This is so spot on! I am totally an INFP. And this information is so helpful for my everyday life. I know I get on people’s nerves unintentionally when I overthink and spew out lots of details and overthink everything. In my mind, if I’m doing that, it’s for the greater good to help others. My boss doesn’t seem to appreciate it and only wants bullet points and brevity that’s not in my wiring.
As a fairly atypical INFP (adhd and 7w8), I have to say, this video is surprisingly accurate. Maybe I'm a bit too used to all the stereotyping, but as much as I can relate to other INFPs, man, does the prevalence of the idea that we're all emotional pushovers drive me up the wall.... I do feel like my being a cold-hearted bastard is as much by circumstance as it is by choice, but there certainly are clear enough INFP attributes that have nothing to do with us being crybabies that I would like to see more of out there.
I have enneagram 782 and also adhd! I love to make people laugh and the sound of laughter makes my day. However a group of people eg coworkers sharing humour and not including me makes my day feel less sparkly.
This was so fun. I really love hearing about other infp’s. That way I don’t feel so weird or alone. Sometimes I feel like an alien. I don’t know any other infp’s in real life. So these videos are so funny and comforting at the same time.
This is spot on. But I do want to add that even if you don't want attention you still need to be appreciated for the things or the work you do. It goes a long way and really lifts you up. It let's you know that you are on the right path. Or at least that's me. But I hesitate between infp/isfp
The picture of the girl looking at a flower with a magnifying glass really spoke to me. I could spend hours watching the bees, wasps, and butterflies flit around the flowers in my yard. Pure bliss!
Benjamin, I've spent months trying to work out if I'm an INFP or INTP but the fact I resonated with all of these has confirmed I am an INFP. Thanks very much - clearest TH-camr on this topic.
My mind is never quiet, it's tiring but I always look for something to read/watch at work during my free time. My colleagues thinks I'm pretending at first but later accept I am just the way I am.
i honestly think ppl who say they don't like music just haven't found *their* music. if all that existed was pop, country and rap music i wouldn't like it either but you definitely gotta go searching. i absolutely love music but i'm VERY picky about what i listen to.
As an INFP that has been consuming a lot of MBTI content recently, sometimes the stereotypes can make me doubt if I’m actually an INFP or other type, but this video makes me think that I’m actually an INFP because I really have much of this things such as I really love music, I have more than 1 hobbies, I like sleeping, I care really much for animals, I find nature as a beautiful thing.. etc, thank u And I really love cats btw :)
I don’t know how to say this but here it is. Was having a really bad day at work and these videos really save me. In the most sincere way , thank you infp friend.
Others might find me a little different. I am an INFP and share most of my traits with this personality type, but I have other traits that don't match lol. Like for example I can express my thoughts into words and I have just three hobbies that I enjoy nurturing (not a lot of hobbies as you can see), I'm fine with animals but I'm not fond of them. I think this is just one aspect of a personality there and personality is a very broad topic, so it does not just stop at being an INFP. Thank you though, I learned a lot.
Being infp type 4 i am very articulate of my emotions and thoughts hahaha. Knowing what mbti u are is understanding your cognitive function instead of follow the stereotypes.
Welllllll this video took away any of the doubts I had left, even though I already knew I was an INFP. It's actually crazy how EVERY SINGLE POINT in this video describes who I am 😂
i live with my to 2 dogs and doing archery, playing bass (i do not play in a band just a bedroom bassist),drawing to study fine arts and majoring in psychology and i barely any close friends and i don't have any romantic relationship, i spend most of my time alone and with my parents i am trying to be genuine about everything i do and i resonate with the behaviours that were mentioned, so i guess i might be a fellow infp
Absolutely. Advertising seems to me ridiculous, so absurdly cheaty that bores me to death and causes on me right the opposite effect intended. And as for protests and signs I'm very pessimistic , I feel people involved are gregarious and have always the wrong reasons for what they defend, and I mistrust them. I can't help it.
i'm commenting this at the "seeing beauty in life" part. one time my friend needed to convey rage and boldness in an abstract painting so she used a lot of reds, oranges, and yellows in it. she sent me a picture of it and asked how it made me feel. i said "happy cuz it's pretty" but it was supposed to give me anxiety edit: this part is at the end of the video (the not liking attention part). last year on my birthday a group chat was spamming happy birthday to me and it was giving me anxiety so i said happy birthday in the group chat just to make it feel like the attention wasn't on me
Yeah, I don't love all animals and find some really ugly. But I respect all animals and am a vegan. I'd never deliberately kill and animal, even a spider.
I agree with all the things as an INFP but EXCEPT for one thing. That when I start something new or learn something, I ALWAYS share a bit of it to someone or all of it to someone close. Like I love to yap and need to tell someone about my own personal experience.
I often have lady bugs in my house (Idk why) but anyway, I catch them in a jar & let them go outside. 😄 & Music is a must in the car. I like to do a little dance and beat my steering wheel to the drum🎶 (Sometimes I’m concerned people will think I’m angry when I beat the steering wheel.)😆
Yeah, but also there's very little people who are walking stereotypes. It's about the cognitive function process not behaviours associated with your type..
@NightCloudI definately. No one personality is the same. For example an INFP. Some might be dark, some might be more of a green thumb, some are healthy some are unhealthy, and not all INFPs are exactly introverts. Or an INFP could behave differently from any of my examples.
I feel like just because we're infps, doesnt mean that we like or dislike the same things, doesnt mean that we have the same understanding of the world, i mean sure some of these points mentioned are crucial points that sets infps from the other types, but the rest are still up to each complex individual. People within the same type can still vary, like some sort of range.
Very creative way of reaching out! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼I can relate to all but 3 of your examples. When I first discover MBTI in the ‘90s I spent a lot of energy🤯 trying to make sure I got it right. There’s a lot more understanding now about the cognitive functions. Your video served as a fun invitation to relax. 🫶🏼My favorite was how we like to have fewer friends to have more ?quality time. When I saw the spiders I knew I wanted to see the whole video 😂 Thanks Benjamin 😊
I'm an infp but don't usually like to nap for long time because it physically doesn't feel good. Like I get into RAM sleep and always wake up kinda tired or drained or after hours passed by and it's already dark outside and your heart is beating fast it just doesn't make me feel good sleeping too much during the day. Like not because I wasn't productive. Unless I've been procrastinating on something (which I do all the time)
I think i might be an infp, it’s just, i don’t like being with people a lot, but I love being with my people. Sometimes it makes me anxious but I love spending time with them so much and sometimes i wake up and be like: FUCK I have to text someone, I forgot about something!!
In conclusion: I'm definitely an INFP. I usually don't nap because it absolutely throws off my barely intact sleep schedule, but that refreshing feeling from an after school nap hits different.
Look, I like to share mah opinions to others cuz I love to see what they think of it too! I get knowledge, and they gain it too. however ieven with random strangers, I tend to speak selectively at times. i talk to complete strangers at times.
This video was very interesting! I am definitely an INFP, because I relate to everything (and multiple tests have said the same). Honestly, I love being an INFP.
I discovered that I am INFP at age of 33 while everyone around me considers me extroverted and funny. But for me to be extroverted and funny is such a hard work!
Yeah, i can be an egoistic biatch. And i cant handle people i dont like .. i rather ignore everything negative xD. I try to work on this and speak up. But to be honest, that does not have the Effect i imagined and hopes. Assholes are assholes. So i go back to ignoring 🙈.
After watching this, I feel like I'm mostly an INFP. I just have a few non-INFP quirks. So, while I thought about myself throughout the video, I tried thinking if each quality pertained to me or not. That's how I came to my conclusion that I'm about 85% INFP, and 15% non-INFP. Since I pertain to almost all of the INFP qualities, it really makes me think.🤔
I am shocked with how accurate this is, except the center of attention bit I think I like the attention I guess? not so sure but everything else was spot on honestly.
I an INFP, am overly preoccupied with music. I just realized the other day that every minute of my day is filled with either a podcast or music humming in at least one of my ears.
It’s funny that as I (INFP) have gotten older (62) I don’t want random background music playing anymore. Listening to music is something I now explicitly do, more like an event every day. The rest of the time if I stop and momentarily freeze my thoughts for analysis I realize there’s a piece of music playing in great detail over everything going on In my head. Always. I guess I’ve collected a music library in my head!
@@famousutopias That sounds interesting, just for clarity, do you mean you can hear music that you enjoy playing in your head? Meaning- not coming from an outside source. I think I can only do this in my dreams, literally, where a song will play and every note rings clearly and beautifully around me. I wonder if this is the kind of experience you’re talking about?
@Loaf0fBread Your comment has me really thinking about it. When it’s playing in my head it’s something that was originally heard from an outside source, be it live or recorded music. And it sounds (in my head) like it did when I heard it including the acoustic properties of the venue, or the mastering job done on recorded versions. The music is as if replaying in a different layer of my mind, so that what’s going on around me drowns it out but in the moments of quietude, even if it’s 15 seconds here or a minute there, there’s that piece of music still playing. There’s no telling what music it will be except for the fact that it’s something I’ve already heard. Typically it sounds the way it did but sometimes it’s a clearer and better sounding version of it. This latter phenomenon has even found me building my own stereo equipment in order to get stuff to sound more like it does in my head 🤓 And THAT is a different rabbit hole. Thank you for listening!
@@famousutopias that’s so interesting and amazing, I hope you can materialize those sounds, because honestly it’s those things that bring me deep joy! Good luck, and don’t forget to share!
So all the tests I have taken said I was INFP but there were still three things that I cannot relate to, so I'm going to list them here because why not 1. (I'm paraphrasing here) "You might not be an INFP if when you learn something new your first instinct is to tell other people about it." 8:17 I love telling people about new shit that I find interesting. The only reason I don't do it too much is because I have social anxiety and I'm scared people will think I'm weird and/or annoying, so I try to hold myself back from infodumping. Sometimes I'll "scream" (send a text message) to my friend about random shit at 3am. But I mostly infodump to my mother. She is never safe. 2. "You are not an INFP if you love to share your ideas with others." 11:27 Basically the same as 1. I ramble to my mom and close friends more about my stories than I actually write about them lol Especially if I'm sleep deprived, then the mask is of, at that point I don't care if people think I'm weird. 3. "You are not an infp if you can't find a silver lining in everything." 13:54 This I kind of relate to but also don't. Like I CAN find a silver lining in most things, but often feel like it doesn't matter. Like, if it's a smaller thing, yes, I will find a silver lining or make a joke about it. But sometimes a silver lining helps about as much as finding a coin next to your dead pet. okay this was longer than I intended, I'm so sorry. Great video btw :)
Actually I'm not sure abt the accuracy of this video it's not a 100%. If you don't 100% relate to this you still an infp. I'm an infp and i can't relate to the same things, but I'm also watched a lot of videos and read abt other types especially infj, isfp, intp besides infp, everything confirms that I'm an infp. I'm still not so sure lol bec every time i was questioning everything like what if i wasn't an infp, then go and learn more and see the differences between this and that and then settling on infp, then questioning it again..... I'm walking on circles lmao. And from this journey i learnt that is a thing for infps to not be sure abt their types x"D Sorry for my bad english, i hope u get my point
i definitely have trouble putting thoughts into words and along with that, i often misinterpret what others say- and no one i know irl really understands !! it makes conversations rlly hard sometimes :’) nice to know i’m not alone in this though lol
I'm an INFP and this guy described me so well 😅❤ Edit: Ok maybe except the sleeping bit cause I don't like sleeping, I can make a good public speaker too I'm just socially anxious 😂😂 and I actually hate it when I don't get credit for something, like being the centre of attention is kinda awkward for me but I still need the credit lmao
3:55 could cry... I literally had a day where I said thank you to my coworkers for showing up LOL I was being goofy but also it made me feel good in my heart cause it was simultaneously genuine HAHAHAHAH
Resume 1 if you don't like animal's 2 if you don't think you couldn't live without music 3 if you consistently keep up with people 4 if you don't say thank you 5 if you don't appreciate beauty of life like nature and people doing normal thing 6 if you only have one hobby 7 if you can easily translate your thoughts into words 8 if you are not creative 9 I got bored
Im an infp, but hate naps. I feel bad ab not being productive or usefull and if I nap Im always dizzy and just feel ill. Its just my personal problem tho,cus when I sleep too much I wake up feelng ill. Im also pretty good at public speaking, but in my every days I do find it hard to commonicate, its always hard for me to find the right words or to fully explain myself and also often forget words (and only remember the feelings of the words) wich honestly bothers me a lot. This is the first time I heard someone call infps leaders and Im so happy ab it.
I’m definitely an INFP, but with a major variation…I am an enneagram 8, the challenger. So basically I am one big conflict of interest as a person. I’m bold and pretty courageous, and I absolutely DO think about what other people need so that isn’t how I operate. I fostered kids for a while and also raised a couple of local kids with neglectful parents who weren’t in the system so I didn’t get paid anything for their care. They basically just moved in here and never left until graduation and their parents couldn’t have cared less. One was a relative’s kid and the parents were addicts, the other was a little friend my son brought home with him from school off the school bus-he lived around the corner from us. We fed and clothed and vacationed with these kids out of our own pocket. Anyway. It’s like I’m two different people, one that withdraws hard from people sometimes and other times I head right for them. I can spend days happily alone working on a project, reading books, playing with my animals and never once feel lonely and crave human contact. And yet I have a husband and children (grown). Luckily my family understands this about me and can handle it. Flip side of the coin is suddenly I want to throw a “huge” party and invite everyone to my house. An example being that I had literally around 400 people at my place on Halloween because we host the town here every year. My idea. We stand around all night in costumes giving out food and drinks and chatting it up with everyone that hangs around looking at the big ole display we put out in our garden. (Complete with a giant movie screen and seating for watching scary movies on all night). All of that is my doing. I came up with the whole concept and design for everything. Our neighbors hang around all night spending time with us. It’s a whole extended family/friends thing now. I was actually really popular in high school. I had my own page in the yearbook, I kid you not. I had parties and a ton of friends at my house. And yet the “other” me needs peace, alone time, artwork time (I am a published miniature artist whose work has been featured in multiple magazine publications). I need my animals. I have a giant greenwing macaw and a couple of cats which I keep separated for safety’s sake. I love to read, I love to learn new things and my pursuit of knowledge of various kinds has been lifelong. And I never met a DIY project that I didn’t love. They excite me like none other.
this cleared my doubts up completely and i am now 100% certain that im an infp! thanks!^^ but i did share the video with my mom… so does that make me not an infp? i hope not :( that’s the only thing i did though. everything else in the video made me sure that i am one but i hope sending it to my mom didn’t mess everything up…
8:18 OBJECTION! As an INFP I... Hm, mabe not while learning... But when I make a discovery I want to tell about it the whole world! Well, not actually a whole world, just some friends. Someday
I sometimes do tell others about what I just learned, mostly if it can be related to them. But it's not really my first instinct. I do want to be the center of attention while singing on stage or explaining something (it doesn't happen often). That way I feel others' appreciation. An INTP I know only differs in like 2-3 things at max. Mainly the ability to express thoughts more easily and not understanding feelings that much.
Question, why do I always have to have my playlists on shuffle?! Maybe that’s just me but do other people just not like things that are always the same???
I don't get where this napping stereotype came from. I feel like my Te inferior won't let me take naps because I always feel like I can be doing something. I do like to relax all the time though 😂
Pure stereotypes lol congitive function is about the process that leads to a behavior, not about the behavior by itself(? I love animals but someone can hate them and still be an INFP because Fi it's about a system of valuing everything, wether you like or dislike something. Same applies to most of the things stated here, this could be any MBTI

I'm an Infp. I had a lot of hobby' s but i never finished them. I always grew tired of them or lost motivation to continue.
Same! i always buy a lot of equipment (art supplies) but i never use them 😂 Maybe i like the 'idea' of being an artist, but not actually drawing
😭I've had a sewing machine for close to two years...I was so excited when I started taking sewing classes...now I just don't care.
Same way I've been trying to learn Korean and French for the past four years and don't even know their respective alphabets or numbers.
Maybe I'm just lazy.

Thanks luv, I’m more of an INFP than I thought 😂
Same and idk what it is lol
bruh these are so accurate, happy I'm not alone in the world
I love you
Hahahhahaha same I was looking for this exact comment - infj
You are not an infp if you dont hesitate first before doing anything
i dont do. i only hesitate. forever xD
too many double negatives there for my infp sensibilities
I think about it and consider if it is right or wrong. I think I hesitate too when deciding what to do in significant situations.
We'll get to it eventually!
*Totally not coping*
That doesn’t determine if your an Infp or not bruh
Im not an INFP, I'm simply here to learn. But we have quite a lot in common. It's nice. - INTJ
we 100% have more in common with INFPs than I expected at first, or even that people tend to assume (the mastermind CEO INTJ laughs). though the overabundance of Fi and Ne-Si definitely confuse me, but it's also endearing!
Like wanted to be always alone for INFP and INTJ who are really introverted? Yes
But I'm curious about INTJ and ISTJ actually, I don't have a lot of occasions to talk to them even online
@@omeiraiAnd like the other MBTI INFP are often seen for their clichés like always crying etc
We do are more sensitive than a lot of types but percentage can varies etc
Some INFP will relate to INFJ or ENFP but actually as an INFP myself I can relate more to ISFP and INTP (sometimes ISTP) for a lot of things, I find it interesting to talk with others about their personnality
I'm very curious, I like to learn about enneagram too and I'm happy to see I'm not the only INFP with main type 5 wing 4 instead of the reverse xD
🤝
I can confidently say I am indeed an INFP it’s almost scary how accurate this was
100% INFP here!

I love that us INFPs are probably seen as empathetic and uncaring at some point at the same time 😂 Also, someone please rescue me, I think societal expectations are beginning to eat away at my INFP spirit, I don’t wanna be normal….

HOW YOU LOVE , IF THERE IS PEOPLE WHO HATE YOU OR BULLIERS WE ARE TOO SENSITIVE, ☹️
HOW YOU LOVE , IF THERE IS PEOPLE WHO HATE YOU OR BULLIERS WE ARE TOO SENSITIVE, ☹️
i think thats why I dont relate to alot of these although I truly feel like an infp, but maybe im not, but i really like infp things.. ughhh lol
First part is so real😭😭
I always feel sorry for INFPs… even though I am one myself… and wouldn’t want to be anything else.
LMFAO literrally tho .... why is this though? I think we are maybe aware that we can be too kind for the world at times?
@@h3llboyyy407 Yes.. definitely kind to a fault.
And I'm here thinking I would love being estp if I could choose at birth and stick with it. Suffered too much because of being me and would want to be uncaring to not be hurt again.

I still love reporting Information 😂 Like i always tell my bf what TH-cam videos i watched today, but he always become so annoyed and upset 😅 I guess not everyone is interested in social issues
I wondered if there's a difference between infp-a and infp-t on this one.
Bro theyre saying me that I'm weird :((...
“Normally an INFP wakes up and the first thing they think about is how they feel.” - Doesn't everybody do that 🤔
Why would I wake up wondering how someone else feels 🤷🏻♀️😅
That's what truly makes the cognitive function stack so interesting, people prioritize things so differently lol
unless you have a crush 😏
Lol. After reading some of the comments I decided the video sounds too silly to watch.
Ii think that's more of an INFJ and ENFJ thing.
That and what I feel like doing in that current day
Not only do I overuse thank yous but i also thank people on behalf of others who forget
If you don't love Benjamin Spicy's videos, you're probably not an INFP.
Haha 😂
completely. nuf said.
Not probably, but definitely not an INFP.
😂
Why does he pad each example so much? It's quite annoying
Pretty grim but that's the infp in me 😅
I also like to schedule my week but often not going through it because I get distracted with an activity that's much more fun to do
@@uwumarii Perhaps you are the “Industrious INFP” which is a productive INFP sub type that I have read about- and I definitely am. They are always busy and work with their hands. I would describe myself as an artisan- I sew, bake, paint etc. never sit still. I also roughly plan out my day but then end up making sourdough bread or rearranging my future rather than do the work I planned ☺️
@@shellbell8062That sourdough bread must be bomb😊
I've never heard of subtypes before but that's pretty spot on for me! I would schedule my week to design characters to sell them but sometimes I would end up drawing my comics instead or care for my succulents or make potato wedges or customize my nendoroids while watching lord of the rings. I love occupying my time all the time. I only take naps when I get sick
I once met a guy who said he didn't really like music, and the level of disconnect and confusion i felt at that was jarring😅
But there are people whose brain just works like that, like instead of experiencing music they just hear noise (the brain region for sound is not very connected to the region for reward, it's called musical anhedonia)
I don't know of the guy you were talking to had it, but it's a thing.
@@missymae8333 That's crazy. Meanwhile, I feel like I have a whole universe in my head.
ikr it's crazy that people like this exist
That part was a revelation to me. Without music I'd probably not survive. I'd be like a fish trying to breathe in a desert.
I've heard that Carl Jung said that INFP Fi is cold. It's pretty spot on for me. I may look cold outside but deep down I feel and think so much.
I have enneagram 782 and also adhd! I love to make people laugh and the sound of laughter makes my day. However a group of people eg coworkers sharing humour and not including me makes my day feel less sparkly.
6w5 INFP here. Wow, an INFP video that doesn't insult my type.
Hey, how do you find out about the number w number thingy?
This was so fun. I really love hearing about other infp’s. That way I don’t feel so weird or alone. Sometimes I feel like an alien. I don’t know any other infp’s in real life. So these videos are so funny and comforting at the same time.
i passed all the stages
i'm an infp with no doubt (not like i'm proud or anything, it's just fantastic how accurate people can be described)
This is spot on. But I do want to add that even if you don't want attention you still need to be appreciated for the things or the work you do. It goes a long way and really lifts you up. It let's you know that you are on the right path. Or at least that's me. But I hesitate between infp/isfp
Being isfp/infp is my current confusion 😂
I identified with everything, except for 2 things that I didn't identify with, but I really am an INFP, this video just made me sure of that
I really love all cats 😂😂😂
Really what else do we need to know about INFPs beyond this 🤔😹😻
The picture of the girl looking at a flower with a magnifying glass really spoke to me. I could spend hours watching the bees, wasps, and butterflies flit around the flowers in my yard. Pure bliss!
You are so underrated! You explained Infps so accurately! This so relatable!
Thank you 😊
Benjamin, I've spent months trying to work out if I'm an INFP or INTP but the fact I resonated with all of these has confirmed I am an INFP. Thanks very much - clearest TH-camr on this topic.
My mind is never quiet, it's tiring but I always look for something to read/watch at work during my free time. My colleagues thinks I'm pretending at first but later accept I am just the way I am.
This weirdly PERFECTLY accurate 😧. Every point was tooooooooo accurate
i honestly think ppl who say they don't like music just haven't found *their* music. if all that existed was pop, country and rap music i wouldn't like it either but you definitely gotta go searching. i absolutely love music but i'm VERY picky about what i listen to.
Yes, great point, much smarter, than in the video
You exemplify the INTP upload schedule lol
100% 😄
As an INFP that has been consuming a lot of MBTI content recently, sometimes the stereotypes can make me doubt if I’m actually an INFP or other type, but this video makes me think that I’m actually an INFP because I really have much of this things such as I really love music, I have more than 1 hobbies, I like sleeping, I care really much for animals, I find nature as a beautiful thing.. etc, thank u
And I really love cats btw :)
yk its kinda funny it sounds like functioning normally and decently means ur not an infp lol and as an infp i find that hilarious
Finally my fav INFP related youtuber is back!
I don’t know how to say this but here it is. Was having a really bad day at work and these videos really save me. In the most sincere way , thank you infp friend.
I’m glad, hope you’re going to have a better day tomorrow 😊
You know you’re in INFP if you’re secretly watching Benjamin Spicy videos at work 😉
Others might find me a little different.
Man, this was so good! Some unexpected points were brought out and it wasn't just full of annoying stereotypes👍🏼
Being infp type 4 i am very articulate of my emotions and thoughts hahaha. Knowing what mbti u are is understanding your cognitive function instead of follow the stereotypes.
Welllllll this video took away any of the doubts I had left, even though I already knew I was an INFP. It's actually crazy how EVERY SINGLE POINT in this video describes who I am 😂
yup, when you reach the limit of happy you become sad
Lovely 😄
do not make me too happy
i live with my to 2 dogs and doing archery, playing bass (i do not play in a band just a bedroom bassist),drawing to study fine arts and majoring in psychology and i barely any close friends and i don't have any romantic relationship, i spend most of my time alone and with my parents i am trying to be genuine about everything i do and i resonate with the behaviours that were mentioned, so i guess i might be a fellow infp
How about hating/being fairly immune to advertising? And feeling super uncomfortable with protests and signs, whether you agree with it or not?
True!
@@ricard3135 Are we the same people?
i'm commenting this at the "seeing beauty in life" part. one time my friend needed to convey rage and boldness in an abstract painting so she used a lot of reds, oranges, and yellows in it. she sent me a picture of it and asked how it made me feel. i said "happy cuz it's pretty" but it was supposed to give me anxiety
edit: this part is at the end of the video (the not liking attention part). last year on my birthday a group chat was spamming happy birthday to me and it was giving me anxiety so i said happy birthday in the group chat just to make it feel like the attention wasn't on me
The spider thing is real... I kept huntsman spiders as pets when I was younger. Loved it!
What a coincidence, I just killed a spider - ESTJ
I dont like animals because im scared of them but id never hurt them babies
I'm an INFP, but I don't love dogs. Pretty much all other animals are heckin amazing though, and I've got two cats and they're awesome
Yeah, I don't love all animals and find some really ugly. But I respect all animals and am a vegan. I'd never deliberately kill and animal, even a spider.
I’m a INFP but I don’t hear music 😭 i hear bird sounds and nasheeds (nasheeds are like music but without instruments)
Thats because you Are Muslim my friend 😊❤
I agree with all the things as an INFP but EXCEPT for one thing. That when I start something new or learn something, I ALWAYS share a bit of it to someone or all of it to someone close. Like I love to yap and need to tell someone about my own personal experience.

I often have lady bugs in my house (Idk why) but anyway, I catch them in a jar & let them go outside. 😄

Me too, love them. But music has a toxic culture and lots of immorality, I hate the social aspect
As an ENTP, I say thank you all the time. Also, you're describing a lot of Ne in the video. Thank you.
It was interesting to listen, but I think that all these traits fit, like, half of other mbti types (or just nice people who are also introverts)
I agree homie 🔥🔥
I'm an INTP. hey, INFPs ❤
Hello!!!
hello fellow intp

Well it doesn't have to be explicitly stated that it can be bad to sleep to much or think only about yourself first thing in the morning.
Definitely an INFP, but 100% can't nap during day time
The king is back
After watching this, I feel like I'm mostly an INFP.
Same tho nowadays i Like attention somehow because it helps me feel appriciated and the accuracy of things i‘ve done
So all the tests I have taken said I was INFP but there were still three things that I cannot relate to, so I'm going to list them here because why not
1. (I'm paraphrasing here) "You might not be an INFP if when you learn something new your first instinct is to tell other people about it." 8:17
I love telling people about new shit that I find interesting.
2. "You are not an INFP if you love to share your ideas with others." 11:27
Basically the same as 1. I ramble to my mom and close friends more about my stories than I actually write about them lol
Especially if I'm sleep deprived, then the mask is of, at that point I don't care if people think I'm weird.
3. "You are not an infp if you can't find a silver lining in everything." 13:54
This I kind of relate to but also don't.
And from this journey i learnt that is a thing for infps to not be sure abt their types x"D
Sorry for my bad english, i hope u get my point
@@Aurora-ro2vp yeah, this kinda became the misfits category too 😍. Every personality has some sides, and the video ignored too many things

I'm not an INFP, but I often find myself attracted to the personalities of INFP women, so here I am researching - INTJ man
Helpful video. A lot of these are like me very much, and some not at all. I was testing XNFP at different times, and ENFP makes more sense for me.
Sounds more like an healthy/happy infp. Not every infp finds life beautiful
Yes this video is delusional, I find life terrible
Benjamin Spicy, you are the Best on INFPs!!!!!!
this cleared my doubts up completely and i am now 100% certain that im an infp! thanks!^^ but i did share the video with my mom… so does that make me not an infp? i hope not :( that’s the only thing i did though. everything else in the video made me sure that i am one but i hope sending it to my mom didn’t mess everything up…
8:18 OBJECTION! As an INFP I... Hm, mabe not while learning... But when I make a discovery I want to tell about it the whole world!
Well, not actually a whole world, just some friends. Someday
I'm not an infp but I'll continue to watch anyways -intp
Wholesome infp content, so comfyyy
I sometimes do tell others about what I just learned, mostly if it can be related to them. But it's not really my first instinct. I do want to be the center of attention while singing on stage or explaining something (it doesn't happen often). That way I feel others' appreciation.
An INTP I know only differs in like 2-3 things at max. Mainly the ability to express thoughts more easily and not understanding feelings that much.
Question, why do I always have to have my playlists on shuffle?! Maybe that’s just me but do other people just not like things that are always the same???
You legitimately just reminded me I said I'd call my friend last week and didn't 😅thx
I don't get where this napping stereotype came from. I feel like my Te inferior won't let me take naps because I always feel like I can be doing something. I do like to relax all the time though 😂
vids like this are great bc I think some ppl try to claim infp more than they should these days.
I watched this too see if I'm actually INFP. I felt called out the whole time, guess I really am an INFP.
I'm absolutely INFP. Thanks for video)
YALL BENJIMAN INFO LOVER IS BACK‼️‼️😍😍😍
Me, INFJ watching this video to know my best friend INFP better 😎
