    I had this same exact situation on the back of my Grand Prix. It was so bad I was thinking of selling the car. Fixed it. Thanks man!!! Got it aligned and she runs perfectly. Almost like a new car.

    I should also mention. That this video was very informative and straight to the point. Unlike some other guys videos. Spend more time talking then showing you what to do exactly.

    Well sir, you put the work in, and you're thinking all the while, this is how it's done right. If it was me I would knock all the rust off I could and coat all the steel with por 15 to prevent further cradle rot. Because cradle rot sends cars to early Graves, front and rear, every time.
    Hard to pass inspection if there's nothing holding the undercarriage together😂😂😂😂 but great work man!👍💯

    So happy when things work out until you run into a problem like I'm facing with same rear suspension on a 07 malibu. Toe link or lateral link has to be cut off on it so it'll be back on the road tomorrow. Thanks for the video. This helped out tremendously!

    My G6 had a broken spring & every little change in the road made the back of the car leap off of the ground. It was pretty scary. I found 5 wrecked G6 s in a pull a part salvage yard & all but one of those cars springs were also broken. It must be a Pontiac defect.. just like being notoriously known for having bad ground wires that don't look bad! There is a great video out there showing those bad grounds being on the drivers side motor.. which codes TCM

    Be careful with the rear K frame, I went through the entire rear suspension recently, all the arms, all the bushings, (except for the lower control arms), and the K frame, my K frame was cracked so I had to replace it.
    It was cracked because of so much rust, (it was far rustier than this one) but I found a rust free South Carolina one for about $250 including shipping.
    Edit: strangely enough, all of my sway bar bushing bolts came out, I was spraying it with penetrant early on though out of fear I was gonna break something

    So, is it the Lower Control Arm that has the adjustment for the alignment or the Upper Control Arm or the Rear Toe Link?

    • @roadboogalabuilds5318
      @roadboogalabuilds5318  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a adjustment in both, lower control arm mainly controls camber adjustment and toe link controls toe

    it seems youd have been better to mark you a line going all around the girth of the back section of the car, get you a quickie saw cut it off and weld you a new rear sction in place. 🛠
