This was great fun seeing your trip this way, thanks for taking us with you and adding so many clips for context! Really feels like we were there too. And appreciate you keeping it real with things you felt you didn’t like

Lovely sketchbook tour~ Btw, the page from the temple is upside down if ever you decide to attach it to your sketchbook put the red part on your left :D

Thankyou so much for sharing your beautiful sketches and paintings. The one on the penultimate page really caught my attention, the way your lines delineated forms and shapes. Would that I were so good. I've just started my journey at 67 years young. Love all your TH-cam output. Thanks again.

Thank you for sharing this with us. It was so good to see your thoughts down on paper. It has inspired me to go and sketch my own memories of places I visit. By the way, I love the cranes!

Great sketches and memories. It’s cool to see you sketching in a different style to what you usually share, as well as the ‘looser’ style.

We were there in April and your sketches are so evocative. I did a few myself but only ink, wondering if I should add some colour? But my, isn't it busy, very hard to find a perch half the time.

You have the last page of Japanese writing upside down! Hope you haven’t pasted it yet!😮

Yes indeed! It’s not pasted in yet, or rather it is now… but the right way round

Japan is just the best country isn’t it! I need to go back now that I’ve done your sketch course & watched your sketchy antics. But please Toby why do you torment a stationery addict with those perfectly placed Penco Clampys …….
