Malaysia is the most underrated country in Southeast Asia! Wow!! We are so impressed by the country.. it is super modern - did not expect that at all 😱
@@Catzfamily269I have to agree with you!! In the US, we have to drive at least 10min to get food and to get good food at least 30min 😢😢. Southeast Asia is super convenience and good god everything is cheap too ❤❤
@@keangwooichoo6138I think Malaysia is coming up through. To be honest I didn’t know much about Malaysia until the last two years.. I am so glad we came ❤😊
Singapore and Malaysia shares similar cultures, food, religion, both are peaceful and multi racial. So glad you made the trip to Malaysia after Singapore! I think your family will have a really good time there!!
We were told people who lives in Singapore love to vacation in Malaysia because things are cheaper and I can see why.. I could not believe how diverse Malaysia is!! I am so glad we made it to Malaysia too.
@@abctravelers Yes we do, things are much cheaper in terms of currency conversion but Malaysia also offers nostalgia experiences of olden day Singapore which some elders miss dearly and seek out. Some have extended relatives and relationships can go way back.
Oh my, where do I begin, lots of places for you and the kids. Since the kids like pool, hope that you have had the chance to visit KLCC park, there's a huge free wadding pool & children playground. In Suria KLCC, there's Petrosains, in KLCC convention center, there's Aquaria, there's a symphony fountain display in the park at night. Well, that's just KLCC. And if you visit TRX Exchange Mall, there's a rooftop garden with area for children too. If you visit Berjaya Times Square Mall, there's a indoor themed park. Lots of fast food restaurants in the malls in KL and around Malaysia.
If your kids like birds & butterflies, both have its own park in the KL Botanical Garden with an entrance fee. What's free is the deer park in the garden. Nearby, are many tourists attractions like the National Museum and National Planetarium. The National Science Center is a bit far away from the city centre, so is the National Zoo. There's a free KL Gallery near the Merdeka Square. There are plenty of water themed park around KL and Malaysia. There's a outdoor & indoor amusement themed park in Genting Highlands, about an hour from KL. If you are looking for local souvenirs, you can visit Central Market.
Thank you so much … we love it at KL ❤️ thanks for the information friend.. we definitely missed a lot of these places 🥲 but it is a good excuse for us to come back 🤭☺️
Dang!! I wished we know all these places before visiting KL … 😭😭😭 didn’t know KL have so many kids friendly places.. so sad we missed out so many cool places..
@abctravelers No worries. Actually, there are more places that are kids friendly than what I've mentioned. I'm pretty sure you and your family will have another chance to visit Malaysia in the future, hopefully so. 😁

@From May 1975 until August 2005, Malaysia hosted 240,000 Vietnamese refugees on several locations including Pulau Bidong, Pulau Tengah, Pulau Besar, Kota Bharu, Kuantan, Sarawak, Sabah, and Kuala Lumpur (Sg Besi) with assistance from United Nation High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) before they are relocated to third countries including USA, UK, France, Belgium, Australia, New Zealand and other countries. The Vietnamese refugee history is ok but the question at the end could be more tactful. Incidentally almost all Vietnamese in USA are direct immigrants from South Vietnam rather than as refugees.

Singapore, Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), Indonesia (Jakarta) and Thailand (Bangkok) are way better than most US cities. The convenience is unmatched.
@abctravelers sometimes it is good to be under rated. Over tourism can cause conflict with locals like in Spain or even in bali or Thailand.
