My Dog! Just what I needed. I’m having trouble triggering the step back when I attack the basket, sometimes they just pull up instead of stepping back smh. Lateral movement step backs are easier for me to trigger for some reason.
Came here to let y’all both know that you can avoid the pull up by doing the stepback as a double throw (like skill dunk or euro.)Takes a bit to get used to but I haven’t pulled up by mistake since.

Flick right then hold left. This may be a bug but if you want to trigger them flick one direction then hold opposite my controller on screen shows it but idk if it’s too fast

@@treya468 everything is on default no settings changed. Are you getting a pull up jumper instead? Try flick(don’t actually flick it and let it go, think of a switch back dribble animation) right then holding left while moving
@@Jerseymad93 I get a step back. But just a normal step back with no separation. My shot is contested and they throw up a 100% contested shot 9/10. I can’t seem to get that animation like you did on that opening step back of the video with pool

The curry move set I use gives me plenty of space. Only downside is, I time it either too late or I got a really good defender guarding me.

Flick left then hold right, the controller in the top corner shows how I move the right stick to do this consistently
None of this is working, I tap square and they pump fake! Do I need to go into edit player and make step back available or something?
