Stumbled across your channel recently in the recommended section...and I'm glad I did. You're so talented my friend. Appreciate your style and how you present in an informational, random, and humorous kind of way. SO entertaining! I wouldn't change a thing. Kudos for going out of your way to teach environmental responsibility. You're a good content creator and a gem! Keep your wheels on the ground as you ride into the sky.
Hey Dustin- you asked for an improvement on oatmeal soup a while back. Here's what I eat every day for breakfast...the dry components can be pre-packaged and cooked in zip lock bags for races and camping. Ingredients: 1/2 cup Quaker Quick 1 min. Oats 1/2 teaspoon brown sugar 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts 1/4 cup Sun Maid Raisins 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon Combine dry ingredients in a bowl with 1 cup milk and microwave for 2.5 minutes or until a low boil is reached. Remove from microwave and stir. Slice 1/2 banana on top of available. For more calories and flavor sprinkle 2 tablespoons of Nestle Toll House dark chocolate morsels on top after cooked and stirred. Enjoy!
00:24 Single speed is what got me into gravel/adventure! I started that sort of riding on a fixed gear, or as I liked to call it, my "tracklecross bike" 😂
Fun to see it! Definitely a goal of mine one day to get my ass over to Oregon from Minneapolis to go on one of these kinds of rides. Your videos make me fall more and more in love with the west.
Inspiring ride. Are these orgnaized OMTM rides? Will have to check it out next time I am in Portland. Seems like a great group of people 🙂 Thanks for all of your great videos, Dustin.
Does anyone know any communities like OMTM in Colorado? I am a mountain biker, but thinking about trying out some more gravel-y stuff and think being able to have a community with planned routes like OMTM but in Colorado could be really helpful.
Dustin people gotta be heckling you about that front fender gap 😅 (wine cork is an easy, customizable *rattle free* way to solve this! Just cut to length, drill a hole, use a longer bolt, and boom!)
I held it with my fingers on the table and drilled at high rpm with low pressure, it was super easy! Not advisable with wood, but with cork the bit never “catches”
Remember when a ride was something you went on and just enjoyed and didn't have every other person in the group spend half the day talking into their phones. Miss those times
Thanks for showing someone eat real food! Ruffles and coke . We don’t want to discourage folks from trying gravel if they think they have eat alternative foods!
@@EverythingsBeenDone normally I try to ride without eating so I do most of my rides in morning since I don’t eat until noon. Now if I was in a long race or a super long ride I will eat anything from convenience store. Snickers , cookies, protein bars , Diet Coke, Gatorade .. I don’t worry about what it is just it my stomach is wanting it . I eat it and no worries ..
YT algorithm boned you on this one. It was NOT recommended on my home account where we watch religiously! Found while at work on a different account, I muted and didn't skip the ads... had to restart when I remembered to unmute!

I went out on a gravel ride without watching your video. Had fun; didn't die. Lame clickbait.

I like the minute at the end to gather my brains
Great edit, great route, ride party missing? What's not to love? Excellent as always.

Dustin people gotta be heckling you about that front fender gap 😅 (wine cork is an easy, customizable *rattle free* way to solve this! Just cut to length, drill a hole, use a longer bolt, and boom!)
How do you keep the cork in one place while you drill the hole? Vice?
I held it with my fingers on the table and drilled at high rpm with low pressure, it was super easy! Not advisable with wood, but with cork the bit never “catches”
Your videos are amazing and funny

Awesomeness 👌🏼
fun fact: white potatoes have a wider variety of vitamins and minerals than sweet potatoes, they're just also more common in other foods
Remember when a ride was something you went on and just enjoyed and didn't have every other person in the group spend half the day talking into their phones. Miss those times

This is like what I do on my mountain bike in between the fun parts.

Great ride DK and only you could make the paid advertisement that much fun !! Cheers

Like a hidden song on the end of the c.d.
debris from front tire could puncture that tube on down tube.

Cresting out from under the fallen tree was a great move.

Portland? Are you out of your mind?
Banana!

Rider at 2:54 with grey tread tires and tan walls...is that a Specialized Aethos? Bike nerds please identify...you won't!
