Thanks for sharing, Poola. The size guide on their website is inaccurate. I’ve been wearing US10 for other brands of shoes and, following the guide, I got a pair of loafers and a pair of boots in Hermes size 40. Both are too small! ☹️
Great review! I am looking to buy the same pair but I am confused with the size. I'm a guy and I wear a Birkenstock 40 (normal feet - not wide). This will be my first Hermes sandals but not sure if I should size up or not and would like to get your thoughts. Thank you so much
These are always really hard to say because shoes are so subjective! And especially these kind where others prefer there to be space in the front and back and others want it to ’fit’. I personally didn’t size up and as you can see from the video my feet go right on the edges. So if you prefer it to have more space maybe you could consider sizing up but I’m not the right person to say should it be half size or full size 🫣 Hermes has a size chart on their website and for these shoes (I’m guessing) the sizing is the bottom of the shoe before the sides go up so you get somekind of picture what the size could be. Sorry that I can’t be any more helpful!
I think these sandals (in both men's and women's) don't follow the usual ways as infact the men's 42 is shorter than the Santorini sandals :DD but they are wider for sure!
Luxury shoes are so hard to buy. I still havemy Hermes’ sneakers but they are probably the last pair of luxury shoes I’ll buy unless I try them on store and they’re perfect. The sizing is just off😅
I hear you! My problem is that I've fallen into the luxury shoe rabit hole a bit but don't have that many stores close by where I could try them on so I will keep ordering online... :DD
@@Sk8Nation I might not be the correct person to answer this as I’ve never tried on the women’s Chypre sandals (only this pair I own) plus with shoes it’s always so subjective. But if it helps: my other Hermes sandals are women’s size 42 and these are men’s 42

I usually think men’s shoes run a tad bigger/wider, interesting that the same size fits

I wear sz 9 in men what’s a perfect sz I can wear in women sz?
