They did, & still do, what they’re told to do. Everything in the music business is orchestrated (by business geniuses). Most of today’s heavy metal & rap music is packaged & sold to make kids feel tough just like “alternative music” exploits teenage angst. And Bill Wyman.
Absolutely agree! Seems it almost came to a halt and then the musicianship kicked in and nailed it! Keith and Mick get on it bout 3:10, and all really synch up bout 4:05
The best thing about these concerts from 1972 are besides Taylor the rythm playing by Keith which I think is perhaps I've heard him play. Also Mick's showmanship and the sheer interaction between the Glimmer Twins. I mean on 'Happy' there's such a wonderful energy when they sing together.
Nice version, RS will remain in History as the best Rock and Roll Band ever
They will never be surpassed.
I was 8 years old when I first heard the rolling stones and I fell in love with them!
Absolutely the best musical talented group of guys in the history of rocking roll!
Love you!!!;
Great match with Mick Taylor and Keith Richards
Indeed, but MT and Bill Wyman - Well, this clip goes back to the classic days wouldn't you agree?
I sat 4th row center stage to all the night shows at Madison Square Garden for the 72 tour. They were amazing but I enjoyed the show in 69 slightly more. Maybe it was their first time at the Garden. They were so tight especially with Taylor playing most of the leads
This is so raw! I love this song, it is sad and energic tune.

Mick was exceptionally good in this video
Hello Cosmo Bos.....yes.....what kind of music training did he have ? Other bands he played in ? John from North Carolina.
Awesome !!! Keith sure knows about driving that full sound with his axe !!!
Hi everyone, I'm from the year 3041, The Rolling Stones are still playing. Their 434th record drops November this year!
The drummer is amazing
It was 2 guitars, a bass and drums. They just took it a different level.
I was only 14 when I heard Exile on Main St Just blew me away..At that time they were the greatest band in the world. Still think of it today
Remember this when it first hit the airwaves. And its as good now, as it was then. Old stones vids are awesome.
