It seems like job interviews are really just a way for the manager to determine if you're a good conversationalist or not. Doesn't matter what you do or don't know.
That's a big part of it for sure. A lot of times person is way to nervous and can't demonstrate their knowledge. One of the main reasons I make these types of videos is to help person calm down before going for an interview.
this is great, ty. some of this stuff you learn studying for A+ but a deeper understanding isn't required to pass A+ so I've had a bit of a knowledge gap in some of these areas. Ty for helping give me a deeper understanding.

I had four interviews last week which were pre-screening interviews. Based on my job application log, I've applied to over 143 applications in the last two to three months. I've interviewed five to 10 different companies in the last two to three months. Still ain't got nothing yet. However, I'm feeling like I am getting warm in the last few interviews and I hope I get something sooner or later. I really wanted to land a role in IT since technology is my passion. I am still prepare to answer any technical questions.

I'm thinking about switching careers. A great friend of mine in HR department is trying to get me a entry level position as a web support with training. I'm really nervous and scared but at the same time tired of what I'm doing and want a change. 😓😓

37: is partially incorrect. IP Settings can not be change here, Release/renew merely releases ip and attempt to obtain a new ip based on the current configuration; An example of a change would be to change from DHCP to Static, or change a static ip and or static DNS and/or WINS Server -
You don't necessarily need to know all of it but most of it... If you learn most of this stuff it will increase you chance in getting that job. When it comes down to it, it's better to know the answers than come in to an awkward situation in which you have to say "I don't know". That makes you look bad. That's just the reality of it. But, it's pretty easy to learn. 😁
@@Cobuman I disagree with your reply. You're not expected to know half of these stuff, at least for an entry level IT support position. Some people even get hired with just basic knowledge of computers, but are then trained to catch up to speed.. The IT managers or interviewers really want to know your commitment and willingness to learn. But yes it is necessary to know more than just the basics, so to have an edge over most candidates.

Watch this video 1000 times until you can recite every word.
A lot of this is stuff you need to know for the CompTIA A+, but broken down into much more manageable chunks.
