Honestly, I'll admit that as someone who enjoyed the first couple seasons of the original show growing up to falling out of it around when season 9 & 10 came out, "A New Wish" was a lot better than I was expecting it to be, I was pleasantly surprised how consistently decent to good it was.
I appreciate this Video and this Show, i have always wondered how Fairly OddParents would’ve been like if it had been more Serialized, so i really appreciate this Show’s approach and really hope that it continues in a Season 2 so I can see where it takes things, as well as to see if we’ll see more returns, Personally, i would like to see either Tootie, Trixie, Veronica and/or yes, even Chloe make an appearance in this Show, just to see how things went for them and because three of those Characters just kind of disappeared at some point in the Original Show. By the way, is it really fair to call this one a Reboot? Isn’t it more like a Sequel? Or am I still misunderstanding what a Reboot is?
I enjoy your review and the way you talked about the series, fop is one of my favorite nicktoons shows along side with Sponge Bob, Jimmy neutron, Danny phantom, hey Arnold and more, also I grew up playing the nicktoons unite game series as well seen the jimmy Timmy power hour, I must say when the first episode got leak I was very skeptical since the franchise has been in the limbo\donwfall for a while with the last seasons of the original show were so bad, the live actions were terrible, the original creator is a scammer arcissist and the absents of Timmy in the nasb games because of nelvana been greedy like square-enix. My first impressions of the first episode was "I like it but lets see what they could do in the future" and boy they nail it, granted I haven't seen the later episodes after the first episode but hopefully I see it when I get the chance to, I'm glad this series is a big step of what the franchise deserved for so long, hopefully we see the real Timmy if there's a second season and see if his look of the channel chasers gets canon as well the rest of the original cast because there's a lot of a potential they could offer in a second season .
Yes... We must keep talking about this show until it drops on Netflix cause it's one of the few ways I would be able to see full episodes
My expectations for this revival were pretty low, making my enjoyment of it all the more satisfying. It's definitely top notch.
