Leuk dat het op vroege vogels was. Dat was een mooie afsluiting van mijn 2e bezoek aan Suriname. Ik wens jullie veel succes met het verantwoord ontwikkelen van toerisme en beschermen van waardevolle flora en fauna.
Suriname the GREENEST country. All this green gives oxygen and take the carbon out the atmosphere straight down into the soil. Very nice good and informative video. Thanks Unlock Nature.
Sranang🇸🇷❤ As a born surinamese i love it how u guys are putting it on the charts!! Let us all cherish Suriname for what it is and try to presurve it for generations to come. We only have one Suriname...and one beautifull Earth...take care of it. Soso lobi❤❤
I love Suriname, as my roots are there. Tourism will probably not do justice to the country. As we have seen in all the countries that have embraced tourism.
I do not share your opinion, we are talking about eco-tourism and a much more than complex situation (protection and development), I do not see evil in these impressions and opinions of travelers who have chosen us for what we are, our authenticity in the plural. With our incompetent governments. Dus taigim fa wi sa sete a kondee ? Wi Bushinenge anga ingii naabi tourist fanowdu ma a economiki situatie fa kondee anga wi libi sa kong moo betee ??
Only with tourism you can get certain places protected by UNESCO etc. Right now a lot of oil/gold companies are destroying the Amazon rain forest and nobody is even seeing what is happening. The indigenous communities are suffering from this the most.
Make an article about the factors endangering the Suriname Amazon Rainforest. I’m talking about deforestation done by big multinationals. I’ve got footage of hundreds of mines that are placed in the middle of the jungle. With big multinationals destroying the environment nothing will be left in 10/20 years so we need to stop that Asap!!
Thank you! They came to Suriname for a tour with us and made this video about their experience. Their names are in the video and they are from H.E.R.P. (@HerpChannel).
Just I return (2 weeks) from my birth country after 25 yrs haven’t see. So I saw my family and country again and it was a pleasure , happiness and joyful vacation in 🇸🇷 . We went to Republic ‘Weekend Jungle Trip’ get away . On the other hand within 25 yrs went back, the old city is like a ‘ghost city. Government has lack of governance the country.😢 Compare to 25 yrs ago the temperature is 🌞🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 the time I was there in Su🇸🇷
But going into the interior of Suriname is way too expensive for domestic tourists. It can range to 400 usd to 1000 usd via cessna plane. Not affordable.
Fortunately, there are many tour options available where you can experience a great part of Suriname for well under that price. Because there is so much rainforest, you don't need to go far to experience the true beauty. Feel free to contact us for more information!
@@UnlockNatureSuriname but airfare to Suriname is too expensive from Netherlands to Suriname is already Usd 2000. While traveling to Asia from Netherlands is way cheaper. Suriname needs to work on that. The airfare scares away tourist
@@mvavd5418 That's something Suriname can't really do all too much about. It's the airlines that fly to Suriname, KLM and SLM. In the past TUI also flew and prices dropped significantly, but then COVID-19 happened, and they never came back.
@UnlockNatureSuriname realtalk. Tourists when going to South America tends to visit Peru,Chile,Argentina ,Brazil. Because there's a lot of iconic attractions in those places. And accommodations like Hotels and B and B are also cheaper compared to Suriname. Hotels in Suriname are also expensive
Nice footage, thank you very much, but I will never quite understand why our beloved country has to be promoted by European faces. Is it because our interior is only accessible by people looking like them? Ahum, I don’t think so!! Put some color in the video! Put my people in the video. Especially if you made this video and if you are from Suriname. Answer to the question that keeps popping up: we don’t want and we don’t need mass tourism and all that goes with it. Given another 20 years, we will be able to explore our country ourselves. Every person of Surinamese descent has the right and will be able to go across the country in due time to indeed see their pristine legacy.
The video was made by a group who travelled to Suriname and did several tours with us. We are very grateful they made this stunning video and shared their experiences. ❤🇸🇷
Have you even seen what is happening with the Amazon in Suriname right now? Have you seen the poknokkers destroying the country. Of the government who lets big oil and gold companies like Iamgold, Roosevelt goldmines and Shell leaving nothing but big craters filled with chemicals. “Untouched” and then coming with “eco tourism”. I know the meaning but just please let this place remain untouched!
Without eco tourism nature in 3rd world countries will be destroyed for money

Soo true. This is just colonisation disguise under modernisation.
