I still can't quite work out why Masaru's content is so watchable. But it is, love the guy and what he does.
He's got a 10/10 invested in the charm stat.
It’s also because no matter how ugly or smelly, he will try it for us and let us know the taste. He is willing to try fish that tastes like goat poop lol!

Masaru: this smells of ammonia, the skin tries to kill you, there’s probably some jellyfish stingers in the stomach, and it’s impossible to filet.
Also Masaru: it’s delicious! You should definitely eat some!

The flesh looks beautiful, like an even softer version of Monkfish.
Masaru, you should try cornmeal battered fish like we eat in the U.S. South, the crunchy, mealy texture with the soft flesh is a really good combination.

i want so badly to somehow get Masaru in the general Southeast area so he can go catfishing in our rivers. i bet he could put a nice spin on all our recipes for fried catfish!

I was watching some video youtube recomended about whats inside blobfish, but there is no cutting the fish, only theory. Glad u have it haha
You should put salt and pepper in the flour before frying things, it adds so much more flavor to the batter.
I kind of knew it would be like jelly. There is a species of fish here in labrador that's always thrown away. It has that texture.
