This was my first Zelda game. And I loved every minute of it. From fighting Ghirahim at the forest temple to destroying Koloktos piece by piece. And the the sacred realms. When I was in elementary school, I would come home, play this game every day and immersed myself into a world were I mattered and I belonged in. This game and the Zelda series in general formed and shaped my imagination into what it is today. To me its more than just a game. Its a part of my childhood. Thank you so much for uploading this. It truly brought me back to a part of my life I wish I can go back to. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow... It's the same feeling for me. I was 11 when I discovered Zelda SS. I'm very cheerful that someone else feels so nostalgic as well.

I was in 4th grade, and I so feel you, but you shouldn't look back on the past in sadness (Even though I'm kind of a hypocrite because I do it too) we should focus on all the beauty and gifts we have now, like being young, because I guarantee you we will be looking back on now in the future the same way
Same for me, it really is a fantastic game with a lot of emotion and heart put into it that I truly enjoy :)

Everyone has a different fav Zelda game, but it saddens me that a lot of people didn't like Skyward Sword.
Maybe because I really like games where it gives you a bit to explore but in the end you just go towards your goal instead of all those side quest and vast world to explore (which is great don't get me wrong) but damn Skyward Sword is till this day one of my fav game of all time.
The story, the soundtrack, the characters... I hope that one day we will get a re-master but it seems unlikely at least for the switch :\

Skyward Sword is beautiful. I get why people complain about the motion controls and such, but the story and the vibes of this game are A1 unbeatable. Breath of the Wild was a better 'game', but the feelings that Skyward Sword gave me with the locations, the characters, the sky, the lore, the plot, and the music are vastly superior
me too, it sucks so many people hate on this game, i feel like they do because of the controls and they never really took time to get past them and play the game. skyward sword has got to be one of the best zelda games EVER, i wish they’d remake it for the switch cause it deserves it!!! and not to change the art style and music
Skyward Sword in itself is a great game, dungeons and world are really good.
Sadly there are so many elements that are just stretching the playtime unnecessarily.

I also think it's not that unlikely that there will be Skyward Sword on the Nintendo Switch.
The Super Mario 3D All Stars game has now been released and the Super Mario Galaxy part uses motion controls in the original game. These have now been converted and transferred to the Switch.
I think, if this works with the game, then surely a solution for Skyward Sword can be found.
I still hope that next year, on the celebration of 35 years of the Zelda series, as much will be announced as this year with Super Mario.
Personally I still hope for a Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess version for the Switch, as well as possible versions of Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time.
I know some of them have been remastered before, but I think they would also do well on the Switch.
Skyward Sword has imo the best Zelda music.

I remember when I was in 8th grade playing Skyward Sword for the first time, seeing all those happy, fun characters and people enjoying their life in the sky. While I do personally think Breath of the Wild is the better game, there's a certain sadness I get while playing the game and staring at the Skyward Sword case sitting on the shelf. A reminder that we will only ever truly know that legends of long past, the better days of long ago.....

This is the best Zelda game and you cant tell me no the music is outstanding the combat and gameplay is really fun and unlike other Zelda games like with the motion controls and all. The story is really good I actually cried a bit at the end don't judge me lol and this is the first video game I ever played on the Wii when I was 3 I played with my dad and it was just such a good memory yall stay safe❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful. Skyward Sword is ironic. It was the first game chronologically, but it was the final traditional Zelda game. It’s successor totally changed the series forever. In a way, it was both the beginning and end of the legend. I enjoy what Breath of the Wild is, but I will always miss the old Zelda. Aonuma said that the open air setup is the new standard going forward

In almost every zelda game I play there's always some welling sadness to the end of the game because in the next installment I would play, the majority of characters that you'd grown attached to and came to love in the previous game would end up becoming just another legend in this long timeline filled with legends. It would always bring a tear to my eye whenever the next adventure would remind you that they existed as a tiny piece in a larger universe, but they still existed nonetheless and they would never be forgotten.

I finally beat Ganon after a few years of playing it on and off. My daughters encouraged me to finish. It was an amazing story line and the graphics were great. Will definitely enjoy playing it again.

As a kid I may have been to you to understand how to do the first dungeon. But I feel in love with the game despite never beating the first dungeon. I loved everything about it, motion controls, story, graphics ( at its time) and just everything. Tommorow I get the new HD version and continue were I left off 8 years ago

This picture could be possible. If fucking directing the bird was also possible. Riding that thing was a nightmare! All the same thanks for the tunes. They soothe my soul whereas loft wings set fire to it, then proceed to try and put it out, by flapping their wings at it.
I liked how the Loftwing controls were. Granted there are awkward parts, It was fun skydiving until you're *this* close to splattering on the ground you call your Loftwing to save you from that freefall.

Me my favorite Zelda is Twilight princess and my first zelda game is Skyword sword and I have all zelda even Hyrule Warriors the era of the scourge

I saw the HD trailer for this game and i was like, "Meh, that's cool, probably not gonna get it and play it again though." But then I listened to this first song and all these fucking memories were just pouring out and i feel like crying now. I never realized how much nostalgia for this game I had. Thanks for making me have to dish out $60 for this game.

i feel like im not in my place when i say that skyward sword is my favorite zelda game ever because i nerver finished it even if it is also on the Switch. i have always been suck at playing video games so i let you imagining my 8 y/o self playing at the wii on my parents' room, just flying and always flying because i was too scared to go below the clouds. but i really spent, like...50 hours by just flying in the sky and talking to the villagers. it's also funny to realize that when i was little, i had a kind of crush for Link, but now that i watched the HD version, i feel like i'm more over Zelda. It's cool to see that even i grew up and changed a lot, i still love this game with my whole heart. Now, one of my goals is to finish this game on my Switch, like to be able to say to my younger self "Hey, you see? You don't suck that much anymore at playing Zelda!". i hope that high school will let me the time to accomplish it! ig i will edit this comment when i will have done it ;)

I've never played skyward sword, was there a strong love theme between link and zelda? Gorgeous artwork!!
Yes. No. Well... sorta. It seems to be kinda implied in the early part of the game, if I remember correctly. Not sure but maybe the end as well? But then Link spends all that time in-between doing his Link stuff.
Honestly, I believe the relationships between Link and Zelda that, in Skyward Sword were only close friends. It was Ghirahim's motives of reviving Demise by kidnapping Zelda that drove him. Then again, I haven't played Skyward Sword in years so I could be mistaken.
Sorta kinda depends how you look at it.
It's up to interpretation mostly, but of all the Zelda/Link relationships, its the closest to there being actual love. Given that one of the themes that plays when these two talks is called "Romance in the Air," It's quite likely. Regardless of whether romantic or platonic, their in game relationship is really beautiful.
In breath of the wild the bird dude said something about the princess "zelda" falling for her appointed night (I think its been a while since ive seen the video) but i believe she likes him =)

I love the music in this game but I think Twilight, wind & wild its a little bit better in my opinion. But I love this, it's on my top 5. Favorite Zelda music of all time

they can't, not like the majority of people want it anyways, i think it is better for them to not be together as it would take a big part of links mind, making him lose focus
This is good for multiple reasons.
-Fanart gets my seal of approval(Skyward Sword is the only game that I ship Zelda and Link) and the fanart is perfect(DeviantArt isn’t totally bad after all…)
-good quality remixes
-at 3:10, is that the Wind Waker title theme I hear?

Not gonna lie, that picture is weird as hell, when you think about it. They are making out at the back of a bird and it looks really dangerous. And it looks like they're getting ready for more. AND THE BIRD IS WATCHING! Think about how uncomfortable that bird must feel!
