Pro - tip; most model year GTs, it's best to actually pull the engine , then perform the exhaust manifold swap. It allows the owner to reduce damage to components, inspect other potential deficiencies including EGR, wiring, oil & coolant leaks. If these issues are considered, it will actually save time, even if you have to rent an engine hoist / cherry picker. There are so many things that wind up requiring service, it's never just replacing the headers and given the lack of space in the engine bay, it becomes more than a day / weekend job. If you really want just the headers done and done right, a good exhaust shop with a lift can do the job in half a day. They also have the experience and the right tools to extract broken exhaust bolts from heads The BBK product shown is very good quality and performs well improving low end torque, reducing exhaust carbon valve contamination. I have recorded HP & Torque improvement as 10 HP @ 3500 rpm and 32 ft lbs at 2,900 rpm at the rear wheels using a rear wheel Mustang Dyno with Premium fuel and stock tune at sea level on GTs fully optioned with stock manual transmission. I haven't tested GTs equipped with any model AOD.
IMO BBK quality is not very good. I had their throttle body crack on my and the headers I ordered had welds so thick that it was more restrictive than the stock manifolds.

Had these on my car for years..but with the newer motor...it needs the long tubes....👍
