Omg thankyou so much for the work you put in to find this. The same thing was happening to my 08 Sorento 3.3l the transmission wouldn’t shift out of 1 or 2nd and there was no acceleration the check engine light was saying those codes so we took it to the transmission shop to get the speed sensor checked they could find anything abnormal with anything other than the speed sensor throwing a error code. The tech gave us back the car and said it may be a wiring issue. Well I replaced both tps sensors on the engine and pedal and that seemed to fix the acceleration problem but not long after getting the car back from the transmission shop it went back into limp mode and no acceleration. I found this video today and took that kick panel off on the passenger side and sure enough that black connector was corroded! Car drives great now you’re a life saver sir!
Hello, very good, I have a Kia Sorento 2.5 170hp that doesn't seem to have enough power, it's as if its engine torque isn't enough, it feels like it's naturally aspirated instead of turbocharged. In the workshop we have changed the injectors and turbo and it remains the same, could the problem be due to the accelerator sensor?
@@rookiediagnosticsandrepair5956 Just finished fixing Kia sorento, was same issue that you had :D one plug was green and there was some sticky residue, cleaned it put everything together and worked like a charm ;)

Thank you. Saved me some amount of time looking. 👍 Top man.
Very good Thank you Sir !
Where is this plug located??? Driverside only has like a fuse box
these connectors are located at the right front passenger kick panel. A couple of screws out and a bit of brute force and you there.
What do you use for cleaning? Thanks.
wd40 or spray for contact cleaning from liqui moly for example and brush
@@rookiediagnosticsandrepair5956 thank you so much. May I ask if it can affect my 4x4 Hi? It suddenly not illuminating in the dash. Thanks again.
@@johnmartinmagno4748 I think you should read the dtc related. hard to tell.
