I for one actually might be a great example of someone who is a more central minded person if we’re talking about political views.
I don’t consider myself “woke” because I don’t always agree with everything in the culture war. But at the same time I dislike conservative-minded individuals who oppose stuff like diversity, equality, body positivity etc. Pretty much anything to make the world a more inclusive and better place. This is why I try to think more critically and try to accept that both sides have a point to some extent, even if I don’t always agree with everything being said or find it straight up foolish.
The funny thing is that I wasn’t sure if I was gonna like this video. But after watching it I didn’t regret it! There were a lot of things that I agreed with and relate to as well. So thank you!

Just finished the first two parts of sam harris and jordan petersons debate on religion. Found this video because i was curious where he stood on the political spectrum, considering his unique realism beliefs

I just love Sam Harris, he is one of the most influential people in my life and his thoughts, writing, podcast and app have definitely pushed me to think rationally and logically. I got into spirituality, meditation, etc. just because of him and believe he is one of the most clearly thoughtful intellectual out there, specially compared to his contemporaries like Ben, Joe, Jordan, etc.

Here's certainly proven to be a much more serious and honest intellectual and worked to distance himself from the other IDW guys who went way down the rightwing conspiracy rabbit hole.
I have my disagreements and criticisms of Sam for sure but overall he's definitely introduced me to a lot of great ideas and changed how I view spiritual practice.

Amazing quality work. This channel is great. You mentioned cancel culture and I think it's pretty safe to say now that cancel culture doesn't exist or doesn't work as people expect. People in general ain't psychopaths who can stay mad for years at someone. We are shocked, yes, but then a month later we forget/forgive. There's actually not a single person who's actually been cancelled. They might switch agency they work for and that's it. However this has become a tool for far right to scare society. Anyhow thanks for showing me this person, as it's pretty hard to find someone to relate who's in the center, but slighty more liberal

"I guess the first thing to say about Roe is that the writing was always on the wall for Roe. It has always seemed like a dubious judicial decision. and just the wrong way to enshrine abortion rights at the federal level. and the fact that we've been relying on it for 50 years has been a failure of governance."
"Let's call this for what it is . What happened here? The unjustified and unjustifiable religious beliefs of Catholics on the Supreme Court have delivered this change in our society. This is religion pure and simple."
