£2900 would pretty much get you a mansion up north add a few hundred to that and you could get a nice detached house in Cheshire surrounded by villages and greenery....
Yeah but there’s absolutely nothing to do in Cheshire. London there is so much to do. The north in general is very boring.
@danh5637 most pepople that live in London work 12h/6days to pay their bills, so they haven't got much time to spend. If you don't earn at least £80k, stay away from London
@@rumcajs009 I live in London so I know how much things cost. And even 80k is too low. You wouldn’t even be able to get a mortgage on a one bedroom flat with that income unless you get a partner.
They seem to be asking people in The City so the posh area of london he's paying twice what a 2 bed is in West London so god knows what he's in. I've lived in London my whole life I know no one who can afford 2,900 a month for that price get a mortgage on a flat you know its cheaper.
@danh5637 there's only things to do in London if you have the disposable income to indulge in such activities a day out in the capital can easily set you back £100+ and that's at the low end
Surely it makes more sense to buy your own place if youre travelling a lot. Paying rent youre paying someone else for you to not even live there. If its your oen place youd at least be paying an asset off and could probably rent out a room
To get a mortgage in London you’d need a long standing full time job that was very well paid. It’s not likely if you’re travelling around a lot. No bank is going to sign off on that mortgage.
London is not worth it. Maybe 20 years ago but now it’s ruined.
Most ppl aren't making a lifestyle choice living in London ... the muppet employers all put themselves in London because of supposed 'prestige' & we employees all need to pay extortionate rent to go work for them there! ... alternative is unemployment, or working in the local charity shop or coffeehouse in Portsmouth or some other city or town!
There's some jobs in certain industries that are very hard to find outside of London. They don't pay well either
For the average Joe, for sure.
Well people come here for the careers generally.
Said by some1 who’s too broke and scared to be in London
I think the first guy is telling porkies. £2900 is silly, even for London.
I pay £2900 exact as well
It’s really not! It’s about the average rental for a one bedroom flat.
@@danh5637 no it isn’t! Don’t get me wrong renting is high but it’s not that high, about half that for average
@@goych so you’re saying you can get a flat in London for £1400 a month? Show me! Find a link and show me.
@@danh5637 actually I’m saying the average is like 1500k, we’re talking one bed right? Just type in flats to rent in London
More than £ 2,900 per month for rent ?!
Yes, mine is £2,900 exact also
First guy is not good at lying lmao. Fake it until you make it I guess.
One more year of the same trajectory and itll be too much. It is already
First mandem is fake flexin... £2900 lol
People don't live in London they just work hard to just exist in London.
Is that tarms?
Once everyone gets tired of working 6 days a week. The city will collapse.
The first boy is a doctor at nights and mopped driver by day
@@wrtp1008😂
It will collapse when Eastern Europeans leave cause they are mostly working construction.
Alot of left already
@@therealshetty Im about to leave I reckon. Im sick of living with 20 other people. I would need to earn more than 3 TIMES what Im earning just to RENT my own place, let alone buy one. You cant work these sorts of prospects into future plans.
I travel a lot & pay 2900 rent = drug dealer.
Don't be jealous fun fact Black people work too...
Sounds like you're broke and jealous
@@sophietagni8924 👆🏻Racial projection
Looks like rouglhy 69% of the people residing in London are drug dealers by your logic; as that figure is standard if you live in the city.
How would you be a drug dealer if you travelled around a lot? How would people get hold of you?
❤
“LoNdon Is nOt WoRTH” bla bla.. when you travel far & wide..LDN is really the best city by far..Goldilocks zone

£800 a month? Where?
Must be a house share
800 is a parking space in central LON
I thought the same thing. That was shared rent price in 2010!
I paid 300-400£ monthly living in London between 2018-21
@@SuddhosiBuddhosi for a room and even then that’s too cheap.
