That is crazy.
Despite all the badness ,dirtiness and ugliness around in south asia , any quality tasty and spicy full sized meal from a clean, above standard resto there would cost at a maximum of 500 INR which is 5.5€ which is 5£ probably.
I dont know where the problem lies but these things should explain why developing economies came up quick and fast.
South Asian economies honestly runs on the shoulders of average hard working farmers and city dwelling workmen, servicemen and laborers and they almost get nothing when compared to western countries, most of the credits being taken by wealthy businessmen, celebrities and part time patriots.
