Much better all around car than the turbos, has held its value better and much cheaper to won. great car, only wish I had held on to my 993 as well

Jerome Widlocher No it’s not a 911, and before my test drive I was convinced I’d have to buy it. After the drive I was underwhelmed compared to my previous 981 Cayman S, so I went in search of a Cayman GTS. Absolutely no regrets and I never look at a 911 and wish I’d bought that instead.
@@cerec69 I always wanted a 911 since my Tennis coach drove me home while I was a kid. When looking for one my Porsche sales guy convinced me to go Cayman 981. I drove both 992 911 and 981 Cayman GTS. They feel like completely different car. I drove both on track in Goodwood. The 911 has more torque and feel faster on motorway but hands downs the cayman was the better car , better handling, better interior, better sound track, better sensory overload..everything about this car has a racing pedigree. Hello Roger. THAT was fun. I purchased a Carrera white manual GTS and we are going to grow old together. Mine is stored for Midwest (USA) winters and hearing and seeing your beauty of an example was much appreciated. Rowing the gears with sport exhaust engaged and windows down on a favorite winding road is tough to beat. I love the look of the GTS with the centerlock wheels and wide body flanks. Mine has black stone guards that look great on the white. I agree on the brakes (non-ceramic) and steering being highlights along with the sound. The power is such that on public roads it is tough to get out of third as triple digits are easily attained. I love the 997.2 GT3, but for my primarily road going pleasure the GTS is my glass slipper...Cheers! Subscribed
