Rose Kennedy was such a beautiful person. All the woman in her family and daughter-in-laws were strong. Never cared for her husband . It was Rose who carried the strength and their family.

Thanks for sharing! Was just thinking about beautiful inside and out Rose Kennedy today and remembering how she loved pink roses, had them around the compound and in the print fabric of her bedroom as well. The family chef created a beautiful birthday cake for her 100th birthday with lovely spun sugar pink roses on her cake. I don't live that far from the compound and went to an exhibition in her honor at the JFK Museum in Hyannis. In each window of the room they had placed pink roses in a vase, very touching! Rose had an indomitable spirit and had said "I shall not be vanquished" after all the tragedies she had to endure and she never was! May she rest in peace with the rest of her great family on the Other side! Blessed be~

Thank you. 🌹 My grandmother said" Don't worry about what generations of men have done to our universe. Look at the women who have sat silently in the background raising good grandsons and granddaughters. They do not speak because they know they have won the good fight for God first."♥️ We will never forget what you did for us Sweet Rose.

Her mother didn't come see her for the longest time and when she finally did - Rose wailed to her own mother - WHY????? WHY????? she wanted to know why she and her dad saw fit to disable her like this. WE are talking months or a year before her own mother came to see her.

She was strong, organize perfectly her family and took care of her husband. That means much more of family ties than most of actual families breaking for nonsenses. Both parents in their ways fulfill their roles. Anhd none of them never asked for divorce. So don`t judge them hard. They have a goal to achieve and they did it. Enough.

She was blinded because when we are young, we have no life experience and we lack the knowledge needed to make a good choice of a man to spend life with and have children. We cannot see through the glass. We should marry in our late 30's after dating a few men and being able then, to make a smart choice.

There is only one left of all their children, Jean Kennedy Smith. Rosemary was a tragedy figure to her father and he made it worse by what he did to her.

The fact they have so many children, with Joe living out and far from home most of the time ( ?) means a strong bond between parents. At their style, under their culture. If I am not wrong Joe died at home, with family around, and I have not heard he has illegitimate kids. In any case Rose cope with that situation, and it was good for the family.
