Diesel Mini Bike

This is a Colman mini bike that I put a small diesel engine on and has had no mechanical issues with for about 6 months now and has a reasonable amount of speed.

Haha I just did that to my mb200 and it’s so fun, unfortunately I broke the exhaust manifold bolt hole but I’m getting that welded tomorrow but other than that is a fun machine

Is it worth swaping my 6hp gas engine to one of these diesels?

not really its fun to say you have a diesel minibike but they barley go at max 10mph and destroy belts best to stay with gas and they vibrate extremely bad

@@bronco_4.3 Okay. I have no idea how many rpm my 4-stroke gas motor turns but it screams (no governor). I should measure the speed but it's probably near 50mph.

​@@thisisyourcaptainspeaking2259there's a guy on TH-cam his hits 50 mph. Not sure what transmission he's running but it's wayyy faster than this one. He also bypassed the governor on it which helps.

@@bronco_4.3 had mine up over 35, just takes a while to get there. also havent had any belt problems on mine although yeah they do vibrate a ton
