  • Testing the Stowaway Rifle 3-shot group accuracy at 50 yards after assembly/disassembly. The Stowaway Rifle is designed to maintain the original zero of the rifle between assembly and disassembly. The results were very positive, with the point of impact remaining very similar.

This is E X A C T L Y how these videos should be done. Nobody ever has the patience for it! But this really gets the point across. Nice work, guys. You definitely get where the old-school engineers' heads were at.

Good job and great idea. Tombstone tactical has these in stock as of 7-25-24 for anyone wanting to get their hands on one. I have one on the way. Super excited!

Dang it... I have been looking high and low for a hot min for a bolt action 5.7x28mm. I would have one on order the second I found this was available. But I just bought 2 rifles last week. Literally crushed

Could you do a 5 or better yet, 10 shot group without letting the barrel cool?

With a survival rifle, the situation is usually that you've spooked whatever you missed after the first shot. Reacquiring follows tracking down the critter again =]

Please for the next update make the bolt auto cock as you chamber the round. I so want this in 22lr or 22mag and right hand bolt. Not sure if I really want it but it's nice to have the option 😅😅

Don't bother with 4.6x30 guys, focus on actual good cartridges like 9mm, 357/38 and 10mm.

Looked at MAC's review on this rifle, awesome. Well thought out and executed. I like the future options to change it out to possibly 9mm, 22 etc. Don't forget to export this to your friends and fellow gun enthusiasts up north in Canada

Love the concept, but would prefer a hotter cartridge like 357 magnum or better yet, lengthen the action to accept 5.56 x 45 mm NATO or 6.5 Grendel.

Excellent little rifle. I'm looking forward to getting one! Maybe I missed it, but what difference does repeatable torque on the barrel nut/handguard have on anything? It seems to be very little to none, but that's your trained hand on your rifle that you manufacture. When I'm in the shop, I know that my thumb pressure on my calipers will give a repeatable and consistent reading, but somebody else using my good calipers (I hate when that happens) could get a different reading due to their thumb pressure being more or less than mine. Is ther any thought (or need - again, probably not) to incorporating a ratcheting stop like a torque wrench or good mics have built into them? I'm probably trying to solve a problem that isn't there. They tell me I talk to too many Engineers. I am curious and hope to hear your thoughts.
P.S. I teach a High School machining program in rural Alabama and the kids are aware of your product. I'll pass along any insights you give here on to them. Of course, we can't even think about making one of our own here without breaking several laws, but the concept could roll over into other projects we do. Thanks!

@@jasonrye170 Great questions. We haven't noticed any difference in the level of torque and point of impact. The part of interest to accuracy is 4140 hardened to 44-48 RC with a deep cross-section and the datums don't distort at the torque applied by hand turning the barrel lock. It interfaces with a hard anodized surface on the receiver. Glad to hear you are getting the high school kids interested and knowledgeable in machining and also our guns! If you have any more questions let us know.

please dont waste your time on the 4.6mm chambering, nobody will buy it. focus on 9mm, rimfires, and other popular handgun cartridges. If you can fit .223 into the action that would be awesome but im guessing its too long.

But why in such a loser cartridge?!?!?! I love the envelope. I would love the utility,...if it came in a useful caliber. There is no subsonic 5.7 ammo,...because .22lr already exists. But if this were in something like 9mm, 10mm, .45acp, .357mag, .44mag, .45LC,...then Hellz yeah!! But 5.7?!?! WTF?!?!
