You get to see her face close up and alao aee how tiny and unbearably cute she is as she stands and sings it. And when they switch cameras she repositions herself. And that little smile. So damned adorable!!
Thank you RHN yes just the cutest thing she has always been cool as cucumber and so poised her family are amazing as well they are so relaxed and have done a great job the whole family are so open with her fans we are like one big family, feels like we have watched her grow up and there is a real connection between her and any one really who loves her, I think she had been anointed with the Angel name already here her Granma would make her dresses and they had to get bigger and bigger always white sometimes the flowers in her hair her life has been so documented by her family , being filmed and singing from so young it is all natural for her which is a beautiful thing she is so humble , sincere and loving but at the same time really confident in herself a really great example to everyone even when she was this young. She finds a way into the coldest hearts and fills they up with love this is her mission for a tot.💗👣
My guess is this arrangement was sped up at the behest of the show's producers. It certainly feels like the tempo was a little quicker than she would typically choose but it only serves to demonstrate how versatile she could be even at 8. I remember recording an interview for broadcast on the BBC once and having to shorten my answers and speak faster to fit strict time constraints. I feel like something similar was at play here

Angelina Jordan from 7 to 17 is the epitome of a Storytelling Signature Voice ARTIST, and she has the ability to take us by the hand and lead us down an imaginary path that we visualize as reality. The remarkable fact is that we experience this in each of her performances, she is indeed a gift to the world.
I think I’ve heard her sing this at five different ages. Each time, it’s different. Obviously her voice got stronger as she got older, but each time we’re getting a jazz singer making some decisions and changes based on the moment. In today’s performance, we can see her keeping time with her foot-even at this age, she’s completely present and involved. One of my all time favorites from Angelina hardly gets played at all. It’s a live performance-she’s 8 years old with a small jazz band behind her at an outdoor concert. The song is one of her favorites: At Last, made famous by Etta James. Too precious! I bet she looks back at this and cringes a bit, as we all do with old pictures or footage our parents took of us. Nonetheless, you can certainly hear that there is a formidable voice in that little angel that is biding its time to break free. Such a talent!

Strangely it's only just occurred to me that she's not even singing in her native language at 7. I wonder if she is any good at impressions? Strange thing to say maybe but surely there, given her age, she is kind of doing an impression of how she has heard the song sung. Either way brilliant as usual!
As is pretty normal in the Scandinavian countries, Angelina learned English growing up. She was already fluent in English by this time. There is a video of her at about 5 or 6 where she is giving a tour of her room too someone and she spoke perfect English. She even gave a brief performance of Rolling In the Deep on a toy guitar. Never understood why this video was made and who it was she was talking too.
I am pretty sure that Angelina grew up essentially bilingual in Norwegian and English - and from a clip of Juliette I saw recently it seems they may have learned Swedish along the way.... in the clip Juliette says I have "five" languages: "American ( :) ) ; English (she meant British english); Swedish ; and Norwegian.. (she only listed 4)
From what I understand Angelina also knows Farsi which she would have picked up from her grandmother and maybe her mom who I assume probably speaks it too. She supposedly speaks some Swedish as it is similar to Norwegian.

Hello! She did wonderful, but I don't really like listening to this one a whole lot. I am pretty sure that they had asked her and the guitarist to speed it up quite a bit to fit the format of the show, which I don't like at all. She was 8 years 3 months old here, and she should have been allowed to sing it the way SHE wanted. This was not that, I am sure.
