Great video. Love the "bottle bricks" One question: do you have to take the labels off? Some videos say yes. Some don't. Just cut in half and tape. Why take labels off?

Hi, I'd like to know did you get any condensation problems within the bottle brick?
I got some condesnsation in my bricks even though we sealed them well
Where do you even find that many glass bottles now? Glass is inert, endlessly recyclable, and made of a dwindling resource (sand).
Can a bottle wall be sealed well enough to be a shower wall and stay intact over time?
They’re used for exterior walls, so I don’t see why not but you would want to paint the interior concrete walls with something that won’t stain easily and be easy to clean. :)
I've always been curious why one would make bottle bricks vs using the whole bottle. I read an article once by a woman who used whole bottles and she said that when the wind blew it was musically beautiful, is there any reason not to use to whole bottle? (Structurally speaking)
I guess horrid looking would be in the eyes of the beholder....

@@PNWGlinda I think it would provide a great trellis for plants to grow on...put little caps on the bottles if your not wanting sound or spider homes....I've got about 6000 bottle saved for my project so far.

I think you could easily to that. At the least you could make up 'window frames' with the bottles plastered in and then carpentry the frames into the wall...let us know how you get on...

"People who live in bottle houses shouldn't buy their kids BB guns!" That said, how hard would it be to repair a broken bottle or bottles??

Use a mason drill bit and a bulldog (large drilling gun) drill holes around perimeter of the woumded bottle and make a new bottle to go into the hole, make it a premade brick and wrap some concrete or plaster just shy of the holes drilled and cure it. Once cured place fresh mud on the brick and inside the hole and slide it in and together. Let it cure and its repaired.
what about the tape wich is visible from inside a brick?

Sirius V use a diamond cutter! :)
Use masonry blades or do the fire rope trick (it works but the glass must be cold), really its easy if you use the correct items to do this.
The soundtrack is killing me. Had to mute it. Illegible with that mooning music that's too loud.
but cutting is really not necessary .........nice though
