    I hope both you get a chance to read this comment. I appreciate both of you guys introducing me properly to Whiskey. I would like to see if you guys could do a mystery testing and guess the correct whiskey. You both do a great job and I enjoy watching your content.

      @@dusty4459 while you are most certainly right👌 I have so much open already. I think 15 open bottles of scotch and a couple bourbon. Most of my friends don't enjoy scotch either. Good for me but I like to share...

    Recently tried the 18 unpeated. It's a bit hot at 59+ abv...but I like it.

      Let it sit for ten or so with a few good swirls in between then add a quarter teaspoon to ~1/2 ounce of the unpeated. That's my magic ratio. I use an eye dropper and I think it's about eight drops or so

    Love your vids. My dad's a whisky lover & I want to buy him a surprise bottle for his birthday, but I have no knowledge of whiskies. Is it possible for you to recommend a single malt, price range up to £200? Feel free to recommend your favourite/s. Thanks.

      Taste in whisky is so very subjective so if you want to please your dad I think you have to tell us what kinds of whisky he usually drinks :) whisky.com will not answer questions here in the comment section (says so if you check down below the video)

    I think it's a real failing among whisky drinkers when even a smell becomes controversial. Whisky drinkers of all people should know to leave their politics and negativity at the door. Whisky should be the one thing we should purely enjoy and look forward to without any controversy or arguments yucking it up.

    Insane marketing ploy, coloring the bottle. Just, why? People want to see the colour, particularly when there is no caramel statement on the packaging. Ugh. One day they'll get it right.

      Darker glass decreases the effect of UV interaction with the alcohol. Less colour bleaching and less chance of the flavour changing. Its why a lot of red wine is in dark bottles. If companies cared, then the majority of whiskies would be in brown or green glass. It's like the opposite of a marketing ploy
